probably talked about as one of the best players in CFB and a top draft pick?

So was Mario Williams. Fournette had aspirations of being talked about in the same breath as Bo, Herschel, Adrian and Barry. Hell, ESPN has barely even mentioned his name at all the past few weeks other than to say he's day to day.

Probably just lamenting the fact he left 2 or 3 Heismans and National Titles on the table if he had gone to Bama.

You are correct in saying that he will be back for Ole Miss. You are incorrect in saying that if we lose another conference game he will sit. Ya boy in the east is being a little reckless with that claim. Yes of course the family loved Miles he was part of the reason he is here but to say they are not of a fan of O is horseshite. The family like O by far. shite do you think Lanard would have ever played under MIles?

Didn't LF7 call out Moses after the Mizzou game when Moses committed to Bama?

I don't have a link, or remember where I read/heard that, but I believe you are correct.

ETA - I think Fournette said something like "Moses doesn't have the chest"... I could be wrong.

Take this fwiw, but this is coming from a guy in the east who's friends with LF's dad, Dookey. Fournette will play in two games. Vs Bama "full throttle" and Ole Miss seems to be the other one. Shall they win out through these he will keepe playing to help the team win the SEC. But he will continue to sit when it doesn't matter. They want to beat Bama and he will play at 100%.
Also, they aren't fans of Coach O.

There is absolutely no reason for LF to risk injury for a game with Southern Miss. Let the guy heal up and come back with a vengeance.

Running Fournette into the ground was Miles' final parting gift.

With the injury, the losses, his buddy, Miles being fired....doesn't seem like he has the want.

Agree, and while I hope we see him in more games this season, it wouldn't surprise me to not see him nurse that ankle injury to be 100% for the combine in the Spring. I'm just saying!

No he said stay ya arse in bama if u goin there... I'm not sure what to take from all this.. I'm sure many of us on here has competed at some level. If LF is healthy then he should play for his team.. That's what it's all about. If he's 100%. If not he shouldn't play esp when we have quality backs to step in. If he's 100% and sitting he's letting his team down , his school down, and his state down. I highly doubt that's the case

This is just ignorant. He has been nothing but a team player since he stepped foot on campus. He injured both ankles, cut the kid some slack. I swear some of you have never played competitive sports in your life. The dude is dying to get back on the field.

We saw him get hurt.

And players finish games with ankle sprains all the time. The issue isn't as much the day of as it is the time after.
