Let's try purple home uni's again.

If there was ever any mystique/magic with the white uni's, it was lessened on Monday.
I don't understand how the majority has a hankerin' for white with gold helmets/pants.
Dinardo brought back the magic, at a cost, in my opinion. Players love that purple and gold, but they don't see it much anymore unless they have TIGERVISION during a UNT/Towson/Idaho etc. game.
Can we end the mystique thing about white shirts? I do know that if we wore purple on Monday, we'd say, NO THANKS to purple shirts, forever. But we didn't, so can we get back to the customary home darks?
I saw some MAGIC when a purple-shirted Hodson hit Fuller in the endzone and an earthquake happened....that was damn magical.
ETA. Still like the all white helm/shirt/pants, every once in a while, though. That was cool, especially if Nike gives us some dough, for it.

For some reason they hate the purple jerseys around here. I'm all for the purples. I think the team should vote on it, they're the ones who have to wear it after all...

Either way, I'd love to see purple jersey pro combat uni's. But the all white leave a lot less room for Nike to frick it up like they tend to do.

Seems that recruits would like the purple. Again, white on gold doesn't pop. And if mystique/tradition is the reason, for it, now is the time to get back to what recruits like.

PURPLE FOREVER!!! School colors are not Gold/White!! Further, Purple jerseys, gold pands are just about the bitchingest unifoms in the country. White jerseys are a tradition fueled by worthless superstition.

That was about the only magic that happened in the purple jerseys. FWIW, that '88 Auburn game was one of the most boring football games I ever attended; 1988 was a harbinger of things to come.

I know a lot of the players like mixing in the pro combat uni. My level of experience does not exceed high school, but I know I wouldn't have liked to wear the same uni's every week. Then again, at that level with as much exposure these kids receive, I wouldn't think it mattered That much. I would assume they'd like mixing it up more. They seem to love it in Oregon

its not mystique, its a tradition now.
who the frick ever said that wearing white helps us win? LSU has lost plenty of games in white unis, purple too.
