For those that think we can get where we want with Steve Ensminger as our OC, you seriously need to take off the purple & gold sunglasses because this year is evident that is not going to happen. Look I am a huge Ensminger fan, and he is a loyal LSU Tiger and we all love him for that. But come on, even Ensminger admitted that he had to think about it when he was offered the job. When you have to think about a promotion that gives you more control and more money to do things the way you want to do them, that is a CLEAR sign you aren't the right guy for the job!!!! I know this won't happen but please Steve step down and remain a coach at LSU, don't have to make it where you are fired. You are always thinking of LSU first, well in this case stepping down allowing LSU to go get maybe a Freeze etc... is putting LSU first!!! You are way over your head and the stats prove it.

People that are defending Ensminger are just plain homers!!! We have regressed from last year with our offensive stats and that ISN'T acceptable. Remember Coach O, what got Miles fired was his stubbornness and his blind loyalty. Miles would still be the HC at LSU if he would have realized those two traits were holding him back, don't be the same way or it will be your arse too looking for another head coaching gig!!!!! This business, especially when you have the most dominant program in the history of the college game in the same division as us, is no longer a business where stubbornness and blind loyalty will help you win titles. Having those traits in your personal life are fine but when it comes to business remember your loyalties have to be to the players, students, alumni and fans we are the ones that pay you and we are the ones that will get you fired!!!

So Coach Ed Orgeron we are saying the same thing we said to Coach Miles prior to his firing and because he didn't listen he is still looking for a coaching job. Coach O, a lot of people don't think you are the sharpest tool in the tool shed, prove them wrong by stepping up and do the right thing before you arse is gone too!!! You need to find a great OC and find one this year or you will not be coaching this team past 2020 and I will take bets on that!!! The SEC West just got much tougher with Jimbo Fisher in the mix and Mullen now at UF who we play every year. You aren't going to be given that many more opportunities. If A&M passes us with Fisher as a coach, watch and see how fast you get fired!!!

PS - and Alleva I hope you are taking note because your arse is on the line here also. You will only go as far as Orgeron wagon goes. You hitched yourself to his wagon and if he needs to be fired, guess what???? Your arse will be gone before Orgeron is fired, watch and see if you don't think so. For your own self-preservation, and the only reason I want that is because I am a true Tiger fan and realize if I want you fired that means we have sucked it up and I don't want that, so you better take notice and force that stubborn coon-arse to change his OC, or we will get a clean sweep in 2020!!! Trump wins the election and Alleva, Orgeron and Ensminger are all gone. I don't want that, because that means the Tigers have failed.

Ed's comment about how they were faced with coverage they've never seen before and yet still attempted to run the same 8 plays that we did against Southeastern told me all I needed to know about the HC/OC debacle here.

We'll always struggle against elite teams. This is not the makings of an elite program and folks here should be livid. Has nothing to do with Posi-O vs Nega-O. This has everything to do with an incompetent coaching staff for the top Conference in the game.

I am not banging on Coach E, I love the guy as should every other true Tiger fan this guy is the epitome of what we should all want as Coaches for LSU. That guy bleeds purple and gold and we are lucky for that.

This is about a coach who tried to step up and help but just doesn't have the skill set needed for the job. Ok, thank you for trying but now please, please we beg you do the RIGHT thing and step down and let LSU go find an OC that will allow us to compete with the top 5 in the country week in and week out!! Because to be honest Coach E, I don't think Orgeron is smart enough to understand his arse is gone if this shite continues and there isn't anything to prove to us that it won't continue!!!!

Is there a single person on here that disagrees? Honestly, if you think Ensminger should be the offensive coordinator next year tell me why.

Their only arguement is continueity and that we should get 100% better on OL

Then we would just need our WR to get more separation and catch the ball.

I like that we are now willing to throw on first down but my biggest problem with Ensminger is that there is no creativity in the offense. Have we even run a reverse this year? An end around? A flea flicker? A halfback pass? A throwback screen? Anything out of the ordinary at all?

A week ago people weren’t upset. We lose to Bama and everyone becomes an expert.

He has always been a terrible coordinator and only an idiot would believe that would change. He has never been successful, but LSU has become famous for hiring football coaches without history of success. No creativity, no up to date route trees or concepts, and no aggressive nature. This is a bad combination for college football these days. There are schemes to protect a weaker offensive line, but he exposes them with the lack of creativity. Time to correct this horrid mistake, because the experiment has failed. I am so tired of the team being held back because of the offense. The offense has to contribute at some point, as the coaches get paid and the players get scholarships, just like the defense.

Actually you are incorrect as usual CWG, now go buy another family truckster!!!!

People were just as upset after the FLORIDA loss. Let me help you understand life, losing sucks but what it does do is help expose your weaknesses so you can FIX them!!! UF showed us our offensive weaknesses and Bama just exploited them!!!

The offense will be better simply due to the fact that we will have better OL, Burrow will have a full offseason to progress and like you mentioned the WRs will be more experienced. We will also add at least one, likely 2 dynamic RBs and get Pettigrew back as a true pass catching TE.

We shouldn't; however, allow that to mask that the offensive gameplan or utilization of our skill players is not where it needs to be. Les tied his fate to Cameron and Ed has tied his to SE. He may need to re-think that decision or his time as HC will be short lived.

Look Coach E stepped up when we needed him to when Miles and Cameron got fired and he stepped up again when Canada was fired. So give him props for that. What he needs to do is look at the stats for LSU this year, with an upgrade at QB, our stats have regressed. So hopefully he now understands why he had to think about the promotion prior to taking it and understand that he was right to mull it over, it is over his head. There is no shame in admitting it and doing the right thing by stepping down!!! He will go down in LSU lore for putting LSU before himself which he has done before!!!

Coach E please understand this is nothing about you personally, it is just that you don't have the skill set we need to compete with the top 5 in the country. Help LSU become great again by letting someone else take a crack at OC!!!!

While all of those things are correct, the fact of the matter our offensive stats have regressed!!! Now if our starting QB got hurt or our stud RB got hurt maybe you can overlook it a little. But when none of that happened and in fact we upgraded the QB position and we still regressed, it ain't the JImmy's and the Joe's it is the SCHEME!!!!
