Yea, our bracket is hard relative to this year's CWS. But it's historically an incredibly easy path to the national championship. Theres only three 1 seeds and two 2 seeds that made it to Omaha.
At worst LSU would only have to play the #3 team, the #15 team, the #3 team again, then a best of 3 with the #8 team to win the national championship.
In 2023 LSU had to play an underated 4 seed Tennessee, the #1 team (lost then had to beat a 4 seed again), the #1 team again, the #1 team AGAIN, then a best of 3 with the #2 team.
So it's a relatively easy year to win the title for LSU. But it's baseball. I wouldn't be suprised if we wen't undefeated against this field of play, or get eliminated in the first two games. Just a weird year.

Just beat Arkansas and our chances look pretty damn good to at least make the finals where I like us vs anyone

The chances of the winner of this game making to the final goes up tremendously. Both coaches know this and will pull whatever strings they need to make it happen.

It's going to be interesting how they approach this game. On one hand, you obviously want to win this game by any means necessary. On the other hand, you can't burn all your arms because you got to be able to play in 2 days and so on and so forth. Should make for some interesting decisions. Here's hoping Kade cruises and we can use our less than desirable bullpen arms to get us the W with a comfortable lead
