If you compare Miles' record with the other top paid coaches, he deserves the raise. Plain as that.

Chavis prevented the bama game from being a blowout because Les didn't open it up until we were down.

Our defense is what gave up TDs on the final drive of the first half and the end of the game in less than a minute each you fricking dumbass.

I MIGHT look for an extension though.

Why, isn't that also being greedy? If you have made 40 mil+ why do you need to ensure you keep making 3+ mil a year? Thought you were secure?

You're a miserable person if you think 13-0 and a SECC should be looked at as a failure of a season. get your head out of your arse.

Dude we ARENT BAMA and no other program in the country can compare to their run right now. We are probably the closest thing to it though. BE HAPPY.

No doubt. I'm just saying that Les had multiple opportunities to EARN a raise. I thought you were all conservatives here who liked people to earn shite instead of it being given to them?

Les had the following opportunities:

1/9--fail, lose to bama
Get top recruit in state----fail, lose to bama
11/3--fail, lose to bama
win 2012 SEC West---fail, lose to bama
Make BCS bowl---fail

That's not good enough for a raise IMO.

This is the true sentiment underlying the vast majority of mindless support for Miles. We're second best, it's the best LSU can do, no one can compete with Bama or Saban, so just be happy with the status quo.

I commend Mickey for having the balls to say it straight out.

I don't agree with it, though. Alabama has no inherent advantages over LSU. The only advantage they possess is coaching. If LSU enjoyed a coaching advantage, we would be the dynasty.

IN sum, screw being satisfied with second best.

Our defense is what prevented that game from being another fricking embarrassment since Les didn't have us prepared to come out and play in the first half.

You opinion on the matter has zero value because you are incapable of objectively viewing the evidence and coming to an apporpriate conclusion. Your mind has been so warped and compromised by your delusion that you are tantamount to a brain washed foot soldier.

Watch, I'll prove it.

Do you actually believe that the nation at large regards LSU as having been the best program in the SEC last season after the NCG? Do you think anyone shares that opinion outside of the demented few who post here?

We were losing 14-3. The defense was light years better in the second half.

Apparently Les thinks 3.75 million a year is not enough money to put 4 kids through college, although one is on athletic scholarship.

He such a better person than Saban though.

So he prepared them at halftime?

Good fricking grief, just stop watching football altogether. It's clear you aren't capable of maintaining a healthy or realistic view of things, so just remove yourself from the situation for the good of yourself and all of us.

Then why wouldn't you do it for free? Volunteer, coach a high school or peewee team. I would hate to know how much the ladder tall enough to reach your moral high horse costs.
