Everyone has seen the frantic stare from Brandon to "somebody" on the sideline waiting for a play.

I don't remember a QB that has played for Miles at LSU that did not exhibit that exact same stare.

It extended a drive that should have ended. Thank goodness we were playing A&M. Any other team in the SEC West would have put up 7 points. Keep making excuses.

I'm aware

I'm not making excuses

It was a mistake.

My point was that it isn't rampant.

I am assuming that you favor Les calling out their names in the press and embarrassing them in public.

This is always a good motivator. Amirite

Nope, just in favor of there being some consequences that correct the problem (reduced playing time, extra conditioning, etc.) Given the constant recurrence of these events, whatever he is doing (if anything other than "guys, we've got to get this right next time") is not working.

When you see that players can't(won't)execute certain plays, you as a coach need to adjust and move in a different direction...adjustments that move toward your team's strengths and away from the weaknesses

How many years has he used that same line and excuse.

I'm willing to defer to you on this because I'm sure you have been to more practices than I have and have seen or heard what if any are the penalties for messing up.
How many mistakes would you allow a player before benching him?
How much extra conditioning do you think should be required before a player realizes the error of his ways and stops making mistakes?

Yes it is. We had more penalties than any other SEC school and we played at least one (and in some cases two) less games.

LINK

I don't have the stats, but I would guess we average at least one personal foul a game, if not more.

Whatever it takes to fix the problem. Other "players' coaches" like Urban Meyer and Pete Carroll seemed to have figured out ways to do it. Shocker, LSU is not the first program to try to find ways to improve execution.

I don't have to be at practice, I can watch the games and see that whatever is being done, IS NOT WORKING.

You said it wasn't rampant, leading the conference in penalties seems pretty rampant. What is your point?

"Good Post"

Lmao

I'd expect this thread to be a negatigers circle jerk all agreeing with one another that LSU is in a nose dive and les is a buffoon.

Meanwhile Vegas has made LSU a favorite to win the sec and 2nd pick to win the nc....while currently in line for what would have been a 10 win season and #1 class.

LSU fans truly do shite on their own. Down vote all you want I realize this thread is no place for positive information. Pathetic.

I refuse to accept this. Every now and then maybe its on the players. These coaches are failing to make these players better. And it all starts with Les.

Once again I defer to your superior knowledge of not only LSU football but Ohio State's and the Seahawk's too.
Do Meyer's or Carroll's players ever repeat a mistake?
Or is it once then never again?

Herbie and Corso picked us in the NC game this year, how did that work out.

You going to add, predicted National Runner-Up to Miles' resume.

Talent is there, results are not.

They win championships, Miles plays 7-5 teams in pre NYD games. Whatever they are doing is working and whatever he is doing is not. It's really not that difficult to figure out.

I said excessive celebrations weren't rampant.

I never said anything about penalties.

Can y'all see Les breaking down film with assistants?

Can you literally see him in a meeting with Cam and others with a clicker in hand breaking down film in intricate detail trying to expose weaknesses of the upcoming opponent?

I can't.
