I interpreted it as he feels comfortable handing the job to a single QB rather than a dual QB system.

My thoughts:

1) Miles and Cameron desperately want Harris to step up and win the job. Desperately

2) They are not going to give Harris the job--he will have to drop his nuts and take it.

3) Harris has the much higher ceiling, but--as bad as he was--Jennings probably has the higher floor. And if he can improve just a little bit, we'll be competitive in all our games.

4) Yes, '08 fricked Les relative to QBs. It's why he never trusted Lee again, even 3 years afterward. He shite his pants against Bama in '11 and Les remembered he was a mental midget.

5) Les did not love JJ. On the contrary, I bet he scared him to death. He just scared him a little less than Jarrett Lee did.

6) Contrary to popular(albeit dumb-as-all-frick)"logic", Jennings can get better. To think he's peaked as a true Sophomore is ab-fricking-surd. His ceiling is not high, but it's high enough to be successful. It's certainly as high as the Lee/Jefferson '11 tandem.

7) practice actually fricking matters. I know a lot of you(Maximus) think practice means nothing("practice, we talkin' bout practice?"), but practice is where coaches--and more importantly teammates--realize who they can count on. If I can't count on you in practice, I damn sure can't count on you in games.

8) I want Harris to win the job. We NEED Harris to win the job. But if he doesnt, that is 100% on him. There is no conspiracy to keep him away from the starting Quarterback position if he's deserving. If you think there is, I'm sorry you're that fricking stupid. Prayers sent.

9) We can reach our zenith if Harris's balls drop and he owns the QB position. We could be unreal. But if he doesnt, and Jennings improves like a normal 2nd year- 3rd year progression, we can still win the West, win the SEC, and win the whole goddammit thing. If you don't think so, if you think we'll ever lose less than 5 games with Jennings, then frick YOU! You are a shite fan and I will fight you to prove it lol.

10)

Why is wanting/expecting to compete for a NC a "problem" in your estimation Rummel?

If AJ starts, it's going to be next to impossible to drag my sorry arse down to BR for even one shiteshow of a game!

I don't think anyone (myself included) has given much thought to the possibility that no matter how below avg AJ is , Brandon Harris could be even worse.

Are they asking him to complete down field passes? If not, then run the wishbone.

Such bullshite. Les speaks to his team/players through media in order to light a fire under their asses without embarrassing them publicly. Reading between the lines, it appears he's telling Harris to step his shite up or he's gonna find himself in the same position he was last year.

He WANTS Harris to step up. He is trying to push his buttons. But he is not going to just give him anything. How can you tards not see this?

Nothing has changed. Nothing will change. That man is incorrigible.

The old saying "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" couldn't be more perfect in describing how our coach has handled and will continue to manage the QB situation.

Frick this.

At least I can change the channel if I am at home.... I will support the Tigers AT TS when I can. But if AJ starts I hate to go there and waste a whole day to watch him play as bad as he did last year... Sorry going to a game and go through that is just not worth it....

I have no faith or confidence in Miles ability to decide on a QB. I'm trying my best to support him. But he makes it hard. I hope he makes the right decision for the team and develop the best QB. Only time will tell.
