lots of employees get "on probation". they need to perform. and the $4,000,000 per year has got to help.

how long does it take you to make 4 mil? a person making 100k takes 40 years. a whole career.

What matters is did ESPN want him fired? No, so Les is completely comfortable coming to work win or lose. #Les>LSU

Les knows Alleva tried to fire him and failed. Les should walk in the office like George Jefferson

Hard for Miles??? F.King just stripped LSU's AD of all authority over Miles. Les can all but ignore his AD knowing he has no decision making authority.

It is hard to build back to the LSU standard without everybody on the same page. If Alleva wants Les to make changes, he can't expect Les to get quality people without offering them some form of security. There are ways to to get it done, but it will take cooperation from all involved. Are those boosters that were willing to pony up Les' buyout gonna be willing to pony up any money to retain or attract assistant coaches? At this point in time, it may be the only way they can help keep the LSU football program competitive.

He's been coming to work for 4 years knowing they want him fired. He plays that nice guy role well.
