Whats funny about this statement is they very well could have lost to arkansas and been a 4 or 5 loss team jackass!
We won that game. It was a greatly entertainly game with a truly legendary finish, and lsu won. Relax and enjoy lsu football. Or don't and have a miserable life dependent on the outcome of a game you don't affect.

Generation Y has a lot of this shite. They're narcissists who can't stand that the rest of the world enjoys something that isn't them, so they do everything they possibly can to denigrate that which we celebrate so that they feel better.

It's just embarrassing though. I don't know whether some of these people are being serious and actually believe the stuff they say or if they spew it just to try and look tough on an anonymous message board. I can assure you that the guy who said we almost lost to Arkansas didn't step foot on LSU's campus for educational reasons.

So you're criticizing Miles without any frame of reference whatsoever....

My point is if you want an accurate idea of how good the team is take the rent a wins out. This year 6-3. In nfl terms a wild card team.
SEC Conference Records Last 5 years
AKA Taking out Rent-a-wins
Alabama 34-6
LSU 30-10
Georgia 26-14
S Carolina 26-14
Florida 25-15
Auburn 22-18
Arkansas 17-23
Miss St 16-24
Vandy 12-28
Ole Miss 11-29
Tennessee 11-29
Kentucky 7-33
LSU has a .750 winning percentage. In "NFL terms" that's a first round mfing bye week.

OH NO WE ALMOST LOST A GAME!!11!11! What a pathetic piece of shite. "We ALMOST lost to Arkansas, so my prediction was ALMOST right". I bet you were hoping LSU would lose so you could come on here and tell everyone you predicted it.
Awww him got his feelings hurt!

Wonderfully standard reply from someone who has absolutely nothing of substance to add and knows he's been made a fool of.

are frustrated because LSU has the talent
But yet LSU has less All-SEC players on the top 22, less AA players, and less HT contenders than other top SEC programs.

What's even more amazing. People like to forget the non-conference games we play because we played Towson and Furman in the last 2 years. Off of the top of my head in the last 5 years we have played:
Washington - 2
West Virginia - 2
Oregon - 1
TCU - 1
UNC - 1
By my count that is 7 OOC wins that were by no means a rent-a-win, which would bump our winning percentage even higher. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that over the last 5 years no one else in the SEC has a record of 7-0 or better in OOC regular season matchups that weren't rent a wins.
BUT, we almost lost to Arkansas this season.

You shouldn't count the near-losses as wins. Also, double count the near-wins as 2 losses. So the real moral record is more like 20-40.

Yeah, because these are all the greatest measures of talent and everything.

What's your point? Did I try to count that as a win anywhere like you dumbasses try calling the Arkansas game a loss?

No its not hard to have college kids motivated and fired up for big games bc it happens all the time in college sports. Thats partially how you define a good coach, these kids know they are playing on the big stage and came to there respective schools bc of that sport. They know they will play in big games thats what they are there for. I can understand if there is nothing else to play for in your season and your team is a little down that day but there is no reason to have just an absolute lack of focus in some of your biggest games when there is everything on the line in your season. Its just inexcusable! It has happend on multiple occasions with Milesw coached teams.
I agree and he gets paid $4.5M to coach a game, not charity work as some of the pumpers would have us think. That said, his record speaks for itself and his positives outwiegh the stupid things as percieved on the national stage. If he left would be hard to find someone that could come in and duplicate this recruiting and on field success.
But those that think he is beyond any constructive criticism are not in reallity. Now lets go thrash some Iowa arse and go into 14 with plenty of optimism!

So Nick Saban wins bowl game and 1st game next year and he's at he's basically at .750 overall.
Miles wins the next 16 games, bowl game, 12 reg season, sec champ, and the new playoff (2 games) and he's a little over .750 overall!
Great comparison you brought up!

Haha out of material? I responded to one of you jackasses that said "I bet you predicted this team to lose 4-5 games this yr like that was somehow so far from what actually happend. We very well could be a 4-5 loss team this yr just a fact so shut your whore mouth!
