Go all the way back to 05 and playing at home vs Tenn.

Not like there were any distractions going on then. How'd we do the rest of that year btw?

If you look at our roster, it was full of NFL talent.

Miles blew a 21 point halftime lead.

This is just a hilariously terrible take for what that 2005 team did.

How'd you feel about Saban with the 04 team then?

The vast majority of that year was unwatchable, offensively. Everyone saw it. Announcers, opposing fans, former players on social media. To act as if there was a time when anyone was even remotely confident in our offense that last year is purely revisionist history, because you have respect for Miles. And that’s fine. But don’t play dumb. You know as well as I do it was bad.

Agreed.....and this is why Miles should have given him a few series in the NCG on 1/9.
I mean....we had absolutely nothing to lose in that situation.

That was Miles being Miles. Just wanted to prove it was going to be his way. NO MATTER WHAT.

Only because what I'm saying offends your sensibilities.

I'm not wrong and neither is anyone else that says talent.....was....wasted.

Without getting into specifics, when I was on the team somewhere between 07-09, our playbook was wide open.. We ran plenty of plays at practice.

Games.. were different.

What point in 2016 under Miles was watching his offense enjoyable?

Wisconsin 14 points without a receiver with more than 50 yards receiving?

13 points vs Auburn?

Squeaking out a 3 point win vs MSU who ended up 6-7?

Don’t just laugh, provide valid points. I am happy to discuss in more detail.

We can go back to 2015 as well.

Am I taking crazy pills? This dude is acting as if it wasn’t that bad when we laid frickin eggs multiple games in a row throughout 2015-2016.

I thought the Auburn game was very "watchable." That's a tough place to play and we very nearly pulled out the W.

Wisconsin wasn't a good game. No one denies that.

You're not though. You'll never admit to enjoying watching LSU football under Miles, so it's pointless.

Look, the man earned the right not to be second-guessed for a number of years but he had the choice to ride off into the sunset a hero and chose to stay, remain stubborn, and greatly contribute to his own demise.

I just made a career choice whereby I could see the handwriting on the wall at the firm I was with and chose to go out on top and move on rather than stay and be unceremoniously shown the door in favor of youth and change. Ir wasn't a hard decision or one that I was oblivious to.
Miles seemed incredibly oblivious to what was going on around him....and that is a major character flaw NO??

He stuck with what worked for him, even if it wasn't pretty. I'd venture to say he's been more successful in his profession than either of us, so I really don't see the point you're trying to make.

I've heard some of the radio personalities say the same thing (Justin Vincent, T-Bob, Jacob Hester).

The bigger bottom line is why are we even discussing this when 2019 LSU is doing what they're doing?

Les is gone, and we finally have what we want. Why do we need these lame arse threads cluttering up the board?

The reason we won was pure talent. Miles did nothing from the standpoint of coaching, managing players, tactics, clock management.

It's sad that post had nothing but upvotes. Miles outcoached Saban on several occasions, not to mention many many other teams.

Nah, he still has loyalists who's sole purpose here is to defend him.

I supported him until the Wisconsin game. Les had a very good run at LSU but lost it a time the end. There's no shame in admitting the truth.
