Who would you rather have as a head coach? This thread will likely get me banned, but the question is worth asking with the incoming season.

I mean couldn’t we have at least let the man’s contract expire before hiring a competent coach?

Orgeron is filler and only deserved a one year contract to prove himself if not serve as interim for an elite coach.

As someone who works in big data/marketing analytics, watch as this thread gets deleted to serve for special interests in the bayou. Yet, I will always have LSU’s interests as an elite program at heart, or at at least sustaining it.

Miles’ career blows Orgeron out of the water and only idiots would argue otherwise. O needs a solid decade of high level winning and at least one title to even begin a conversation.

If you want to look at 2018 in a vacuum, where Miles was when he was fired vs where O could potentially be on his way up, it could be open for debate.

But in general, the only people in the college football universe who would take Orgeron over Miles reside in a very specific portion of the LSU fan base and nowhere else.

it looks like TD doesn’t have a special education forum.

I misread the post and thought it said Les versus Oregon! The way we dismantled Oregon in that season opener was unbelievable!

What about the way we dismantled Les against a championship Auburn and Wisconsin team in the hope he wouldn’t recover for the sake of firing him? Alleva just praying for cause in the hope Les wouldn’t recover. Alleva is a POS. Coaches don’t want to work for someone with a track record of incompetence.

If I have to take into consideration only their time at LSU, I’ll go with the latter. Love me some Miles, but change was needed. I gave that stubborn ole fool plenty of years to let me down, so I can wait a few more with anticipation.

Yes, unfortunately some of you are allowed to post with the general population without any kind of disclaimer.

Were you at the Wisconsin game? Was an unheralded lie set upon the tiger faithful. Watching that display of in your face, FU’ness was enough to make me lose my respect for Miles. He told everyone what they wanted to hear and change was not on display that day. I’ll take the loaded O and D line recruits, get our usual athletes, try to get a competent QB for once, and move on. What did Miles prove in the end that makes you think he would change? For me, it was a LIE and nothing else and he would never change.

Well for one, he was the all time winningest coach in the LSU history, won a NC, and Burrow; that gift from god, may be that competent qb you were looking for. Orgeron does not deserve credit for someone who decides to transfer to somewhere he can start because of a hopeless situation. That comes down to luck for O'.
