That is literally where that gif came from. After a snooze of a win for Alabama where we were never within two touchdowns and they mercy kneed us these idiots were puffing their chests and touting how we finally outgained them (never mind that O was a total pussy and fired the guy responsible for that).
WE COMIN!!! They all boasted, yet now, all we hear is how we’re still a year or two away and we just need more time and eight wins would be great and expecting 10 wins is unfair and hating on the coach.

The question was les miles or Coach O. At this point in time, anyone picking Coach O is college football mentally challenged.

Les Miles all day long and twice on a Saturday night. While it was the end for Miles and it was time for a change. Which should have happened at the end of 2015. In no way shape or form is Orgeron on the same level as Les. Now Orgeron just might become that but if stack up their resumes side by side Orgeron isn't in the same room with Miles.

No way in hell I'd pay jimbo what aTm paid, and wouldn't take the other 2. Petersen at Washington is a guy I like. Miles knew how to run a big time program but talked like a bumbling idiot and felt like someone was pulling your teeth watching his offense. I'm not sold on O either but will sit back and see what happens. Neither guy gives me the idea they can win us a championship. I said it about miles after 1/9/12 and was hoping he'd prove me wrong and feel the same now. I do think we'll be better than predicted FWIW.

I'd prefer pre 1/9 Les Miles, but he had to be let go after what the program had become after that under his reign.

The sad truth is that he’s waaaay better and more respected than O. Let that sink in. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have been fired but why hire a guy who can’t get any other HC job to replace a guy who can’t get any either. The only difference is Les is a proven winner and O isn’t even close.

I can’t speak for whomever you responded to, my narrative is that O has yet to prove himself to be on par with Les. He may yet but he has not so far.
This season will tell us more. Haters will accept nothing short ofperfection or near perfection at least. Syncophants will acceptanything short of a losing season. 10 games is my benchmark but 9, with this schedule, while disappointing would be understandable provided we are compettatve. If our very first SEC loss to aTm is one of our losses, that will be very disappointing.
