Good God, please don't let it come down to this making or breaking a game ever again!!

Aparently Miles is incapable of foreseeing any adverse situation. We must wait untill we lose a game in order to set up protocols to avoid screwing the pooch during (fairly) normal football operations.

Yes I consider the 2 minute drill normal.

Back at ya, dicklick. Not talking about the time, but the quality of questions, which were terrible, if questions at all. Try again, numb nuts.

OK, I'll agree that most were retorical questions. there was one where he could actually give a short succinct answere, "Why didn't we kick the ball?" See if you can find his answer burried somewhere deep in his ramblings.

I bet he just tuned out after the first question/statement (and I can't blame him). This isn't his first rodeo.

Will Les ever give a simple, direct answer to a question? His answers are so long and boring that it makes you forget the question and ultimately you feel like he hasn't even given you an answer.
I understand Les has the luxury of an multi-million dollar payday if he is fired by LSU so I think he can afford to take any and all the blame for the coaching blunders of the Ole Miss game. I wonder if he would have taken the role of martyr if he was in the last year of his contract?
I would love to see Les and his entire staff turn it around, but my faith in his and their coaching abilities is diminishing. Yes, he was the head coach when we won a national championship, but we are slowly trending toward medocrity.
C'mon Les, stand up and coach!

Meh....his answers have consistently been this way. He might have been a little worse tonight because the heat was turned up (nervous). I do feel sorry for him, but I still want what is best for LSU.

I don't even know what I think about him, anymore. But I do know that the media is on to the fact that the fans have turned on him and aren't being shy in talking about it. I heard him lumped in with Charlie Weiss today talking about job security. Brian Kelly (Cincinnati), basically said that he is glad not to be in that position because he knows how it can harm recruiting. And that is why I hate all this Les bashing. He isn't getting fired for this season, unless he gets caught with 2 hookers and a kilo of cocaine. Despite all the dick waving and claims to the contrary, people aren't going to stop buying LSU tickets and merchandise. The Arkansas game will sell out. And if we do actually get a new coach after next season (which we very well might not), he will have to deal with 2 recruiting classes that are not as good as they could have been because of the speculation about Miles' job security (Also, I will be the first to admit that recruits could probably care less that the fan base is so volatile - as long as they show up for games).

Les was eating blueberry ice cream and the lady callers were crying over the unis for Saturday.

Listened from 8:30 - 9:00 on my drive home. It was kinda like the radio version of this board. Charles and the callers I heard put down the purple and gold pom poms and now see it like many of us had seen it for years now.

He's not the person to lead the team unless he basically pulls a Tuberville and goes 12-0 or 11-1. Don't know why it had to be a meltdown of epic proportions for this board and Charles to see it this way.

Time management is not Les's only short coming, answering a simple question with an equally simple (english) answer would do wonders for the LSU "nation" going forward.

all i know is that miles national PR image is getting barbequed royally ... no way he recovers from this with any credibility ... the only thing dumber than his 10 deadly sins on saturday is his horrible attempt at covering his arse and explaining himself the last three days .. he would seriously be better at this point if he would have just said "no comment" to every question he's been asked since the game ..

Because they are assholes and want to beat a man when he is down. What the hell do you people want him to say? "I'm an idiot"? Man you people amaze me. Of course none of the people ever make mistakes at their jobs.
