+1 He called the press conference everyone has been wanting and these retards can't even have the balls to give him credit for that, much less saying what they wanted to hear.

Abused children. Resentful toward authority figures that aren't flawless. Want to see them get on their knees and beg for forgiveness the way red-eyed, froth-mouthed dad should have done after he beat them senseless in a drunken rage.

This man just needs to fess up. His only option to turn around an embarrassment in the making was to change qb's. He f'd up, and needs to just say so. The fallout has began. Where it ends is the only question

Channel 9 didn't allow Doucet to be at the press conference. I guess they didn't want him going off on another "post-tennessee" rant.

Worse than listening to a politician. LOTS of open ended silliness and like I expected but was hoping I was wrong, nothing to say about why he didn't play JL but because he felt JJ gave them a better chance of winning with his deer in the headlights look plastered on his face (added by mdt) than introducing a fresh talent into the game to see if he could spark life into the offense.

Ohhhh, they deliberated "REAL LONG AND HARD" on putting Lee in the game (YEAH SURE YOU DID) but thought JJ gave them the best chance to be successful. I wonder at what point in the game they thought that was working.

Les did himself no favors with the fans, and this will NOT do anything but further fuel the fire of contoversy surrounding his handling of things simply because he missed a golden opportunity to get REAL WITH THE LSU BASE, and yet all we got was a bunch of empty jibber jabber like we always get.

He would have been better served to just not even attempt it than get up there and say nothing about nothing to nobody YET AGAIN.

This was one big nothing about nothing. Sad... Opportunity lost.

I disagree. He basically confirmed a lot of shite that hand been suspected. What you saw was the game plan, and it was his choice and responsibility.

we all knew it has his gameplan.

what did he say today that wasnt already known?

he wanted to play lee.

JJ gave them the better chance to win with his feet.

the players that didnt play (shep) had plays but just didnt get called.

there was no fight

loss was his fault

"they were in position to win"

at least he took credit, but that was obvious

IMO it was not needed.

He did. Lee didn't play because Miles wanted to go with JJ, period, and felt that game plan was the one necessary to win. He was honest. As shitty as those decisions were.

I bet Les Miles really really hates ALABAMA now....

I will definitely be looking forward to seeing LSU run up the score on Alabama next season..

I hope you guys don't take what I posted as word for word. I was rapidly typing.

Les doesn't speak in grammatically correct sentences mind you.
