Going back to last year Cotton, JJ was damn good with a new OC and better play calling. Not to take anything away from Lee, but we would still be 10-0 with JJ starting. This team is built on running the ball with a dominant defense. In a low scoring game or close game, JJ gives LSU the best chance to win. Teams can easily game plan for Lee if the other team is able to stop our running game. With JJ in the game, the defense has to spread out to defend the option along with safeties spying/cheating the LOS which opens the passing game. It took JJ along time and alot of headaches for the fans, but he has become a true Dual Threat QB. Notice how when JJ is playing, the receivers tend to get open more often? before the cotton bow, JJ couldnt get the ball to them. Now a year older with better play calling, JJ will make defenses pay for crowding the line.

btw, JJ ability to throw the ball is underrated. He has a better arm than LEE to get the ball in tight spaces. His throws might not be accurate but there is no floater up for grabs.

if you are the opposing DC, you are hoping for Lee to start and play the whole game.

Could have sworn Crowton was still the OC against TAMU.

I honestly, 100% do not believe this.

I could also say that we wouldn't be 10-0 with just Lee. Jefferson obviously showed his worth at Bama, but Lee has been the better QB all year and should be the man, with JJ coming in as a change of pace(if necessary)

Reading that one would assume JJ to be a good QB,that's just not the case, don't kid yourself. At the same time Lee is no world beater himself.Hope fully LSU will be the first team to win a NC under a two-QB system.

So one good game against TAMU outweighs JJ's performance the rest of THE 2010 season and makes him a great qb?

One bad game against Bama outweighs JL having a 13-1 TD/INT ratio going into the Bama game and makes him a bad qb??????????????

tell me a game we would have lost with JJ instead of Lee. not oregon or west virginia. JJ playing the whole game against bama could have given us the win during regulation. I will say it again, JJ will beat bama again in a rematch to make it 3 straight.

Then, he get hits by Hightower and can't get rid of the ball fast enough. Throws into double coverage and two int's later he is a nervous sissy in the pocket.

Yeah, all those ranked teams he beat this year were thrilled.

A village just called, and they are missing you.
