I heard the interview and that is complete BS... He said nothing but good things, the guy doing the interview even asked him if he was serious, that there has to be something about this LSU team that he can point out... He said LSU is a top to bottom great football team.

Child please.

Wow, that was the year it took a mindless quote by a preacher to get the team fired up for a football game.

Someone invented a Richt quote before the 2003 game in Tiger Stadium and circulated it on the Internet, complete with artwork. Richt never made the comments, but a lot of people believed them. I think someone taped it to the players' lockers, but I can't recall that for sure. If memory serves, the person who made up the quote was either the same person who wrote the fake Saban speech in 2002, or he was related to that person.

Richt is one of my favorite people. This is not something he would say. He wouldn't be stupid enough to do it, and it's just not his style.

If people really want the team to get mad at Richt, they should expose them to his part in Facing the Giants

Actually, I kinda liked that movie in a way. The acting was atrocious though.

That was the first file that came up. I didn't see a date. I guess they didn't archive yesterday's interview yet.

LINK

There's a link proving he was on yesterday. They don't have that part up only the saints interviews. I'm just telling you what I heard as I drove home and he definitely said that quote.

No offense to you, but I'll believe it when I hear it.
It doesn't sound like something Richt would say, and it doesn't sound like anything I've heard him say in almost a decade of keeping up with him.

Ok I will man up when I'm wrong.

The exact quote from the interview is

Bobby "Coach now when you look at the whole body of work LSU through their first 4 games undeafted. What sticks out what impresses you about LSU?"

Richt "Well to be honest with you that they're undefeated..haha..you know wins..sometimes fans just don't realize how hard it is to win a game and in our league a victory is a victory"

Deke Emailed me the mp3 file of the interview

I was wrong in the exactness of the quote but to me it still doesn't "sound right" how he said it
