I have read the posts. I saw the taunts. There were people here who took note of SPECIFIC character flaws with Les, to point out how BAD a coach he was, and how he could never hold a candle to Nick Saban. Now I know for a good week, and even leading up to the Bama game, there were many 'I was wrong' posts.

But for God's sakes, people were BOOING in Tiger Stadium when JJ was put into the game for the first time several weeks ago. I heard it!

When it was discussed, some of you said 'here we go again!', or 'well we are not booing the player, we are booing the decision making.' And on and on.

Now everyone wants forgiveness for calling Les names, and is jumping on the bandwagon.

Bah, its so frustrating when you seem like one of 5 standing up for the coach and for the team, and when they have positive results, everybody falls over them and has a short memory.

I wonder what this place will be like if we lose to Arkansas.

Winning does not have to be the end-all guys. Not to make a comparison, but Ohio State fans stood by their coach even when he loss ALL the big games to SEC teams, and even when he was forced to resign. Can't we just make a pledge to stick by Les, and admit we will always have the best coach, right here, right now, for as long as he wants to be?

He doesn't deserve apologies. Part of his job is dealing with fans and media. I think he has the fans now and all he cares about is winning the next game and keeping this team on track for a championship.

And this is why Miles is the coach and the inbreds that were booing went back to their trailer parks and fixed a heaping bowl of ramen noodles.

I gave up on doubting him last year and this year I feel like a moron. It's obvious crowton was the problem and CLM deserves everything coming to him. He has certainly earned my respect and apologies.

But why do we have to be so fickle? How s it Nick Saban can screw up left and right (as he has the past few years), get outcoached time and time again, blow huge leads, lose to FCS schools, and still not get one shred of criticism?

I know nobody deserves that type of 'blind sheep' allegiance, but I just think Les has earned some stfu from the fans for awhile IMHO

He does get criticized. He made some stupid fricking calls last week. I can't really say much about the media, but I think they've finally come around. They are seeing he is fallible.

While deserves a ton I won'[t give it to him on the QB situation. We MUST have a total Offense that includes a better passing game. Lee is the better QB if we are to accomplish that.

I can not wait till next year when we have one QB that gets the nod and will find a groove early on and stay with it. Shuffling QB's doesn't bring the totality our Offense can offer to the surface.

I think you are waay behind the curve here EthanL because all season long, former Miles baiters have been saying how wrong they were and how much they are learning to appreciate Coach Miles. Am glad you finally came up for air, but where have you been? And I just want you to understand something else: Booing in Tiger Stadium did not begin with Coach Miles or JJ or whomever. LSU fans have long since been vocal about what they like and what they don't like. Booing happened back in the Cholly Mac era, on up to the present, and probably before. Tiger fans are passionate about their favorite team, for the good and the bad.

So just curious if he brings in a second title. Does he ever get a statue? Regardless if people say Saban built the team, Miles has kept this team at a high status nationally. Thoughts?

He gets 4 million apologies per year for the next 5 years (before taxes).

I wouldn't be so sure that we'll only be playing one QB next year. Although Mett can run and throw, his role will be as a pro-style QB. I think that, in the Spring, we'll start to hear rave reviews about Jerard Randle, who might challenge for the job as the dual threat.

What's wrong with ising two QBs? Some of LSU's most successful teams have done that, and the Tigers rarely make it through a season with their designated starter. When's the last time they did so? It hasn't happened in the last five years, for sure.

This isn't the NFL, and I am happy that CFB is more complex and diverse.

Les don't need apologies.

He is getting the last laugh, and we are all - as LSU fans - benefitting from it.

Ethan, I supported him since day 1 (see prior posts for proof) against the jeers of some of my friends and family and colleagues. I have been calling each one this past week to make sure they weren't choking on the crow.

Not surprisingly, some of them still pick out faults. I actually had one say, "I can't believe he pulled Lee. He has earned the right to play even if he makes a mistake."

I quickly reminded him, "Hey. Miles did put Lee back in the game. And immediately he threw another pick. Come on, you can't leave him in after that!"

"hmm," he said, "Maybe you are right."

Maybe, nothing. I am right! Coach Miles is a great coach. Different style than Saban or Myers, but just as good.... if not better.

Miles doesn't deserve an apology. Go back and read the game threads while the game was going on. Very poor play calling. Some even thought that Crowton had snuck back in the press box and was talking to Stud. We have been dealing with poor game management, poor decisions, poor play calling for the last 4 years. Lee is a mediocre quarterback when we have a run game. He's been doing it the last nine games. Jefferson doesn't have a clue. No better than last year. You can see it on his face. If we get by Arky, we will win the championship. Next year, with Met.....it's gonna be own. I'm buying my championship tickets for next year as soon as available.
