It's one thing to bring JJ in to speak to incoming freshman about mistakes and what they can cost you. No problem at all with that.

But to allow him anywhere near this team this week would be a HUGE mistake. No one I repeat NO ONE is that stupid.

Can't, won't happen

Choc baby I'll be ok, I'm just so stressed over Les Miles' coaching that I can't eat or sleep.

FYI, we're playing Bama Saturday...I hope you're not too ignorant to think that emotions from our last meeting with Bama would not surface these past couple of weeks? The last time we played Bama we played the most dismal offensive football ever to be seen from an LSU football team.

Sorry I called you "ignorant"...I'm just stressed.

I would hope the powers over Miles would tell him "not no but hell no".

I didn't read the article. Sorry. Being a dick can not be over rated either.

Sorry, I guess I assumed someone commenting on an article may have read it.

The comprehension quote was not actually meant for you anyway. This place is Code Red over an article written by one of the worst sportswriters in the country. A true journalist would have written something like "When asked if Jefferson would be allowed to speak to the team before the Alabama game, Miles replied". Guilbeau added the before the Alabama game part to get a rise.

I obviously can't state that as a fact but Miles response sure leads me to believe that Bama was not mentioned in the question. He spoke about bringing people in to talk to the team about "off field" conduct. Does anyone seriously believe that this is something on Miles mind 3 days before the biggest game of the year?

JJ is not going to be talking to the team prior to the game. Miles never said anything of the sort. this entire thread is nothing but overreaction and trolling. color me shocked

He won't let him. What do you expect CLM to say? He can't respond to that question with "frick that guy he's not coming anywhere near my team." He just didn't want to throw his former player under the bus

One guy gets it. CLM does not throw players under the bus. He's a little smarter than that. The frickING JUDGE asked to see if this could be done.

A Miles response of "frick JJ" is not only a slight to former players, but the Baton Rouge legal system, of which, Miles knows he'll have players in front of again at some point.

I understand where you are coming from. I commented on the thread title. My mistake. Lesson learned. I do agree with your comments. The game and all the peripheral have struck the very heart and soul of most Tiger fans. JJ's history speaks for itself.
Naw, I really don't believe Miles gave it a second thought. Maybe he's got more important things to think about.

he let snoop dog speak to the team before a few years ago and that did not seem to have cause any issues

Was that before, or after multiple players got suspended for failed drug tests, and also before 4 players on that team got busted with pot?

I'll hang up and listen.

(Oh, and PS: if it was before, them maybe someone should forward this post to Aleva in regards to Miles' judgement)

without JJ, we lose to Bama in both 2010 & 2011.

Wait, I seem to remember Lee hitting a huge 3rd down completion late in the 2010 game, and Bama had to scheme for Lee in the 2011 game, which played a big part in keeping Saban off balance.

Because I know for damn sure that JJ, left all by himself, against Bama in 2012, was the worst offensive performance in a BCS champioship game. Ever.

I would rather have lost to Bama in Nov. with Lee, than to have lost to them in Jan. like we did.

I would love to meet you in person. I'd be shocked if you could walk and talk at the same time. Maybe Snoop Dogg told the whole team to do some weeds before 1/9 and thats why we lost? I bet the only reason we ever lose a game is bc all our colored players love the rippity rap music and all they can think of are big butts and weeds and rims. WE NEED MORE JACOB HESTER!!!!!!!!!!!

Like those players didn't smoke weed before they even got to college you fricking moron.

You don't bring someone into a room full of teenagers and use him as a role model, when everyone in the room knows what the guy stands for. They were snickering at Les behind the hands they had over their mouths

Yes, I think it's a good idea. Maybe we can have some convicts give speeches too. And how about some white collar crime figures. Bob Marley, John Gotti, Son of Sam.

Why the hell would we want to disrupt the team's concentration before the biggest game of the year.

Did you skip being 18-22 years old? Les didn't bring in Snoop Dogg as a role model, he let Snoop talk bc the team loves Snoop and it's a really cool treat for them to be able to meet him after all the hard work they put in on the football field. And it's a great recruiting tool, one of the perks of playing at a program like LSU is you get cool stories like that. And what do you think Snoop said? "Hey everyone, go smoke weed and then get caught so you get kicked off the team." No he said something like "go whoop some arse, Tiger's are the biggest baddest animals on the planet"

So, Guilbeau trolls the Rantards yet again. Some of you are just so embarrassingly stupid. Illiterate even, apparently.

As a white guy, every time I hear "Fo shizzle my nizzle", it makes me slap my knees with laughter. Carrot Top is the only other person that can pizzle my nizzle like the Dogster.
