Your best hope for the future is that LSU goes 8-4 and fires Miles?? That us a ridiculous statdment. And what makes you think that Dabo Swinney would be interested in coming here? He has a good situation there. Why would he want to deal with a fan base such as this if you are the prevailing opinion? Hoping for the team to fail, so you can get rid of a coach is not he way to move forward.

It amazes me that Alabama wins a game and fans start trashing the current staff. All they have over the last Two months is to beat Texas A&M, beat Texas Tech decisively in
The Texas Bowl', finish in the Top 25 (16th and 17th) which is the 3rd highest ranking of all SEC teams this year and has put together the top ranked recruiting class so far and are in the cusp if landing some really great players and has brought in an excellent defensive coordinator. And some if you are still trashing them. They lost 3 in a row and have things turning in the right direction. Please some of you Find Another Team or become Gumps.

Florida took a chance on Urban and it paid off. Herman could be similar scenario.

Urban was successful at Bowling Green and Utah that curb stomped Bama in Sugar Bowl. He wasn't a one-year wonder. And it's funnt how people don't want to give Urban any credit for OSU's offense. It was all Herman.

Les has had just as many Coordinators move on to HC positions as Saban

Pellini and Fisher

Vs

McElwain and Smart.

And McElwain went to CSU first not Nebraska or FSU.

Dumb fricking thread.

do think Aranda will give us a top 10 defense next year, but I doubt our offensive scheme will help beat elite teams. We'll see what happens.

With a good defense LSU has beat elite teams, including Bama. I don't know what's going to happen next year, but having a strong defense is a good thing. And yes if the offense struggles atleast they won't be down 21 points trying to claw their way back in it with no hope.

You aren't a LSU fan.

At the height of recruiting season you come here with this garbage.

Proud of Coach O to stay loyal to LSU...I'm sure he knew he would get a big bump along with recruiting coordinator,,
He wanted to coach at LSU for a long time and it missed by a fraction a few times but we finally got it right and in the nick of time with Frank leaving,,,O won't leave but for a premier job only...I hope he hangs in until Miles retires and we give him a shot....

Don't think O will be Recruiting coordinator. He likes to go after a bunch of kids at a time and focus on his position. He will take the associate head coach title and keep on rolling the way he knows how....

Post less

So what is your point. Since he doesn't post much it makes his posts less worthy or something. I can tell you one thing for sure. The more one posts on this board does not in any way increase their credibility. Just means they post a lot.

Tom Herman is up an coming man give him a couple years. He destroyed Bama last year in the playoffs. Florida took a chance on Urban and it paid off. Herman could be similar scenario.

Dabo- Most of those losses were in his first couple years when he was rebuilding from Bowden. In recent bowl games he beat Miles, Urban, and nearly won the National title Monday against Saban. He has developed 2 elite college qbs in the past 3 years.

Jimbo has been a part of 2 National title teams 2003 OC and 2013. He can develop qbs which in this offensive age is a must, and he recruits well. That is why I said those guys are elite or in Herman's case have a chance to be elite.

Dabo Swinney was born and raised in the Birmingham, AL area (Pelham). He played football at Alabama, has two degrees from there, coached there as a GA and as a position coach. If he is ever offered the job there he is going to be the Alabama coach. End of story. There will be no keeping him from them.
