Idiot, if you are going to call your self an elite program, you can not be satisfied with anything less than a bid at a BCS bowl. Any coach worth his salt wants to be on at least a BCS bowl. This whole bowl system is bogged down with a bunch crap bowls that take up tv air time. If you are a coach who is ok with those BS bowls then you should coaching at a school that is in a BCS conference. Get out and go coach at a lesser school for a lesser salary. Coaches who get paid like Miles, Saban, Stoops, Fisher get paid too much damn money to be satisfied with a BS bowl.

Do you think Miles went into this year thinking just getting a New Year's Day bowl was good enough?

And Les Miles has never taken LSU to a BCS Bowl...wait...

There is a difference between being satisfied and crying like a bunch of babies for every minor mistake Miles and his players make.

With a playoff, the landscape is about to change. Making it to the playoffs consistently will be the status of elite programs, not the figure skating mentality of the BCS.
