Yea. The plays aren't the issue, it's basic pass protection and receivers dropping the ball. If you can't block and catch you are gonna suck...sophisticated offense or not.

Eddie George this morning on Sirius 91 mentioined that LSU is playing sort of lifeless and without energy. That is sure what it looks like thus far.

IMO, that's what happens when you play a shite schedule.

The Washington game doesn't fit the poster's arguments so they block it out of their memory.

That's what happens whenever this team is amped up and ready to play.

The OL still sucks though. So does Mett.

Those last two comments are made to make sure no one accuses me of taking up for anyone.

Just out of curiosity, how do you know that's the ENTIRE playbook?

I'm not insinuating there's a secret playbook.

I'm just asking how do YOU know that there aren't plays that haven't been run?

Let's say they have been "saving plays" for 5 years

What are the saving them for? The BCS championship game?

Whoops...

So, you answer my question with a question. I asked a legit question and you fail to answer.

So apparently on the road @ Auburn in a 2pt game wasn't the time to use at least one of those plays? C'mon man.

I agree with this fwiw

The players just haven't been "up" for any game other than Washington.

Honestly, I don't blame them.

If they remain lifeless in the swamp, then ill change my opinion.. Until then, I feel like they are just going through the motions

Neither do it. Who the frick wants to play Towson? Anyone would be sleepwalking through that.

We agree here.

It's Florida. No doubt in my mind they'll be amped up. Especially considering Burton running his mouth again.

All I'm saying is your wrong. You made a statement that was false. Period. I did not address what LSU did or didn't do against Auburn. Maybe they should have executed better?

His exact quote was "the playbook is open there's just some plays we haven't gotten to yet." We're not sitting on anything. This offense is what it is. And if it executes it'll be damn good. People waiting for the super secret playbook need to move on.

Here we go. What did he say?

Mett is also a Georgia boy playing in the swamp for the first time..

Think he'll be pumped?

People want to think there are magical plays that when called work no matter what. In reality our playcalling opens up when players are executing and the offense is in rhythm.

There were no complaints about the playcalling against Washington this year, or WVU, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas last year. That's because we executed on offense and never got out of rhythm. That's not a problem unique to LSU and Les Miles

I HOPE they are just going through the motions and get up for Florida. If so, we'll be ok; Talent is definitely not our problem right now.

This game is our most important thus far and I'm optomistic but not confident. SEC opponent, on the road, time to step up... I believe this game will define the rest of our season.

I'm not here to argue with you. Your initial post was "There you go folks. What you've seen is what you're going to see the rest of the year. We just have to execute and stop turning the ball over. Get it out of your systems now rantards." You misquoted and then elaborated on the misquote. That's all. I firmly believe there will be more IMHO.
