Dumb take. Appreciating what Les did do and admitting it was time to move on can both exist.
Plus, Ed O was the perfect hire after Les' stubbornness had sucked the excitement out of LSU football. Similar to how Kelly was the perfect hire to be an adult in the room and cleanup Ed's mess.
