LuckyLes with another bubbagumpdom:
<< Les can't win without Saban's Players
Well we get to see how Miles does with his own recruits this year. I'm guessing if he does go 8-4, you guys will be saying "but we had a new QB."
and ...
<<congrats on that 2 loss NC>>
----------------------------------------
Actually, that sounds like what would come out of a bubbagump mouth in 2009.
And therein lies the new millenium difference between the 2 programs, LSU and bama.
First, old LuckyLes would suck Mikes testicles to have that crystal. He knows LSU was the best team, he also knows his telented 2007 Saban team was completely wasted, and he knows LSU is simply reloading again.
Sucks to be you, bubbagump.
-------------------------------------
Now about a 8-4 record.
Bama has only exceeded an 8-4 record
what, once in the last 6 years, right? Twice in 10 years? While LSU certainly would be depressed with an 8-4 record and a probable #15 ranking, Bama would be declaring themselves "National Champions-14" for 2008.
I assure you, you delusion and your excuses are
going to eventually run out. You're going to see that LSU is the measuring stick. And when Saban does finally give up, you're going to know LSU is simply a better program than Bama is... now and perhaps forever. Oh sure, you'll upset us every now and then, like Mississippi State, but you'd be silly to expect much more.
This is honestly like comparing Florida to South Carolina. You see. And in time, eventually, you'll have to admit it.
Like I said, sucks to be you.
It's all about knowing your role in the new millenium. And as I have often stated, and I can tell you now yet again, with or without Saban, Bama is no longer LSU's equal. You'll need a better coach than same to catch us, or for that matter, Auburn.
Deal with it.

Hilarious to me Bama fans (or anyone in general) thinks we're only winning due to Saban's recruits who never even played for Saban. Meanwhile Miles has only recruited better overall than even Saban managed. But we won't win with Les' players
p1: saban is an awesome coach and awesome recruiter
p2: saban recruits really good players for lsu
p3: saban has good success
p4: miles sucks
c1: miles has great success with "saban's players"
FAIL!
if p1-p4 are true, then the conclusion is that lsu should REGRESS under miles, not PROGRESS. thus:
p1: saban is an awesome coach and awesome recruiter
p2: saban recruits really good players for lsu
p3: saban has good success
p4: miles sucks
c1: miles has average success with "saban's players"
in reality:
p1: saban is a very good coach and recruiter
p2: saban recruits really good players for lsu
p3: saban has good success
p4: miles is very adept at recruiting and hiring excellent coordinators
c1: miles has great success with "saban's players"

Miles is 34-6.3 and 0 in bowl games,1 sec champion
ship and 1 national championship. What the hell
has Alabama won lately. A big fat fricking nothing.
Miles is a class act, a great coach and a good man. Choke on a-hole.

Why is it that Les won with Saban's players but Urban DIDN'T win with Zooks?

Because any time a coach is fired, the new coach will always get all the credit for winning. Any time a successful coach leaves for a better job, the next coach's success will be given to the foundation left by the original coach.

You are the champion, we definitely don't know who the best team in the country was last year though.
why not?? because we had 2 losses from triple overtime with a banged up team? u saw wht we did when we were healthy---i.e. va tech and ohio st.
we were dominant.
let me ask u this how is it u dont know who the best team was? because of 2 losses? who didnt have 2 losses? if ga would had won the nc, then wud u know?
how many losses did they have? how many losses did usc have? how many did fla. have? oklahoma?
what team do u think shud have played in the nc against osu, seeing how almost all had atleast 2 losses? how bout the one who was 5-0 against top 15 talent and won the sec(the best conference in the nation) whoever says we shudnt have played b/c of 2 losses is slap retarded. we were the the most obvious choice.......and we won! scoring 31 straight points along the way and giving up a garbage td at the end.............idiot!
ignorance is bliss i guess---and jealousy's a mother fricka

While I have no dislike for Coach Richt, he seems to be a classy guy. However, one can argue that he has done the least with the most. He has had better recruiting or similar recruiting to the other major SEC schools; yet, UGA has lost some games that make one scratch one's head in bewilderment. The West Virginia loss was an embarassment for the entire SEC. Les can coach big games better than anyone in my opinion. Also, 24 of the 38 points scored against Ohio State were by Les Miles recruits. I hope the rest of the SEC keeps on underestimating Les and LSU.

You might be able to win without Saban's players but can you win without Fishers. .Jamarcus Russell, Jacob Hester...Jarrett Lee .the list goes on.

Dear God, when are people going to give Les Miles the credit he deserves?

Jacob Hester was a 2-star. Jimbo wrestled him away from in-state schools. He wasn't going anywhere but LSU.
Jarrett Lee hasn't played a snap yet for the 34-6 Les Miles.
Is that the best you can do? (rhetorical question since you are Seminole)

If Saban didn't have balls, Les would have won with her players!

Whats reall funny is that I know for a fact from a former LSU player of Sabans ( who is still close family friends to this day with Nick) ,that not only was Nick in Baton Rouge when the thought was that Miles was leaving for the Big House, but he also talked with West Virgina about their opening. WV would not pony up. Word from the player was that the boosters are driving Nick crazy and he is looking to get out already after one year. Also tells me he is after a big check since he would not go to WV for a pay cut.(dont bame him there). Just a fact for you BAMA fans to chew on.

If that's the case, then why did the Little Dickhead leave "the better job" at Miami? And I can guarantee that Les Miles has gotten NONE of the credit for Mike Gundy's limited improvement at Okie St., although they are vastly improved from when Miles took over the program from Bob Simmons.
