Yes 90 carries in the last 2 games just to give him yards, because he sure wasn't doing it on overall yards per carry. 4.3 yards per carry in his last game. Guess the national media didn't care when they were killing him with all those carries. They made such a huge deal when Leonard was getting 25-30 carries. Pitiful. The award is a joke. If Bama loses 1 more game and Henry has those exact same numbers, he doesn't come close to winning it.

Leonard Fournette is FAR AND AWAY the best player in NCAAF. Anyone who says otherwise is just as fickle minded as the national sports media. We lose 3 in a row and everybody forgets how special a player he is. I'm seeing a lot of flaky fans on this site doubting LF7 just because our season went south. There is not a single franchise in the NFL that would take Henry over LF7.

Fournette should have been invited but it was Dalvin Cook who got robbed, imo.

I guess I should have quoted what was said about running straight over people in the NFL..I didn't mean Peyton Manning...I meant Payton...as in Walter Payton

Most underwhelming Heisman winner since Mark Ingram. Both used big games against LSU as their highlights to winning the Heisman.

I know i may be out of place, but why cant you guys give a good football player some respect. Most if not all Alabama fans respect and enjoy watching Fornette's game. But the facts are Henry out played him in most common opponent games this year. And no he did not have that many more carries. Just look at the A&M game. They had the same number of carries and Henry had as many yards in the first quarter as Fornette did at the end of the game. Sorry but Henry was better when it counted. Buga did well against the scrubs.

Well, your book doesnt mean a thing unfortunately

And since Peyton Manning did not win it... Even this award has lost some credibility.

That makes more sense. But Walter didn't just run over people either. He could move and had very quick burst speed. He started his run fast where as Henry has to build up his speed.
