Never thought I'd see the day.

If we are lumping Recruiting and Developing into one then Les deserves no better than a 5.

Les is a pretty good closer on guys we want, but he either has no concept of how to structure recruiting classes or is terrible talent scout at some positions(Or both)

I don't think it is fair that people make him out to be a moron. He has made mistakes, but he does not actually have a low IQ. It actually is disappointing our fan base disrespect his actuall intelligence.

His recruiting is maybe a little overrated, but he isn't taking chances on people nobody else wants. It has appeared he has won the battle for highly desirable guys. The coaching staff deserves blame for not doing some better development, but I think there has definitely been some underachievement by some of our players which falls on the player's shoulder. I am not pissed at the players for this, but it isn't like they would all be all Americans under a different coach.

lets not overreact to a terrible finish. lets look at the big picture. we led both ole miss and alabama going into the fourth qtr. (thus the defense could have won both games) on the road (we get them at home next year). I didn't see us get out coached at bama. coaching absolutely lost the ole miss game but players could have won the game BL, PP, DL, all had bad games.. JJ played well enough to win so the big picture for the whole year is CROWTON can't get the offense to perform against anybody. with better offensive coaching and play calling we should have won both games. all this crap at the end of the game was an aberration due to Ole miss letting an onside kick pass by. the big picture is we scored 3 (florida), 15 (bama) 16 (ole miss excluding pp TD) that's a 11 point average against good teams. YOU CAN'T WIN THAT WAY. CROWTON IS THE MAJOR MOST PROBLEM. Miles is a lesser issue.

He does this all the time, even worse a lot of them get offers early in the recruiting season which signs away a spot before we can see if a better guy is interested.

there is no overreaction

LSU has not been a good football team this year

we're 2 plays away from having five losses

If you look behind Ws and Ls instead of repeating stupid mantras like "A wins a win," or "Its the SEC games are always tough" then you would have seen this coming and you would realize that it could have happened a number of times before now.

Yes they did. Saban had a better gameplan and it showed BIGTIME in the 2nd half.

Not sure about that. I blame Miles for this loss alone cause he had a chance to BE the head coach but let his O.C make the most important call.

BS the offense fell a part after we lost our two most important offensive players to injury. Julio didn't do shite until our best defensive player got injured. This opinion is just based off of general hatred for Miles and not off of facts.

Taotally irrelevant. SFP is not Les Miles competition. People like Saban, Meyers, Stoops are. They can do better.

I normally do not support many of SFP's threads. This one has legs. If you disagree with his analysis, blow holes in it. Saying he cannot do better is stupid. I would assume you are better at your job than Les Miles would be.

So why wasn't LSU up by more before they got hurt. They had a ton of chances.

Ingram had 13 yds at the half. He got 131 AFTER halftime. Coaching SABAN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.Miles.

Chuck moved the ball all the way down the field on that drive. Are you going to say that wasn't the reason because Ridley had an 8 yard run. Lee did absolutely nothing onthat drive.

Jefferson went out so then we had to completely rely on Chuck. Chuck went out and outside that one Ridley play we did nothing.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head. I never was on his bandwagon and every time I got one foot on and ready to jump on , he does some bonehead thing. I believe even the most avid Miles supporters are scratching their heads this morning.
