+1.
But they weren;t "predicting" it. Just look above to see their next level of excuse for their bullshite.
It's pathetic.

I'm not going to look at your post history, but how many times this season have you complained about the unequal (and often head-scratching) distribution of the ball to the team's multiple running backs?
This has been discussed ad nauseum, just like the Jefferson/Lee QB situation. Miles favors the running back by committee approach. I don't necessarily agree with it, especially when one guy is on a hot streak and suddenly he disappears. Ware was a beast before his suspension, since his return he is a shadow of the back he was before. Hilliard was a monster in the SECCG and hopefully will carry that over to the NC game, but it won't surprise me one bit if suddenly Miles gives more touches to Blue or Ford for reasons unknown.
Remember the Kentucky game in 2007? Charles Scott had something like 90 yards in the first half then suddenly disappeared until the 2nd OT. When asked about it, Miles gave some ridiculous excuse about how Kentucky made adjustments at the half to neutralize Scott, yet Miles continued to let an injured Jacob Hester carry the ball even though he was largely ineffective.

But he isn't interested in playing the obvious best player b/c he is holding a drudge against Lee
I don't know if its that obvious, but Les certainly will and should do what he thinks gives him the best chance to win.

We are probably better with JJ's running and sporadic passing
I disagree, JJ's sporadic passing is lucky not to have cost us a TD or two at this point. I can think of two instances off hand where he threw the ball up while going down (once against Ark and once against UGA -- although I think the UGA throw at least got out of bounds, but was still ruled grounding). He has no patience in the pocket and tends to make poor decisions when going down. If he tries to throw one while going down against Bama it will cost us points.

do you have a problem with the "Les is shitting on Lee because he's in love with JJ" stuff?

quote:Sure, but the point is that you're only crying about unfairness to Lee, and not a single other player on the team who isn't starting. That's why it's bullshite - this is football - best players on the team (as chosen by the coach) play - whether someone's feelings get hurt in the process is not a concern.

I'll bet even Lee would be embarrassed at all the little butt hurt bitches on here who whine about his own fairness.

no, because thats stupid and not the same. talking about les' feelings compared to talking about lee's grades? even specific things/assignments that were pointed out?
yea, clearly on the same level...stop being stupid

If Lee stays in the game against Bama, it not only costs us points, but we lose the game bright guy.

I really hope Lee writes a tell all book one day for his time at LSU... not only could he make good money but we would all finally know the truth behind everything.
It would probably be best to write it after Miles leaves LSU though as to not hurt recruiting

Though there are a ton of people on here who are convinced that the entire world (including Miles) knows Lee is better, but he won't get playing time anyway. So it must be grades, a grudge, etc.

Good He'll be in for victory formation at BCSNCG

Please tell me you are joking. Watch the UGA game again. JJ would make one read and immediately start looking to run, usually ended up backing out of the pocket instead of stepping up into it. JL made two bad throws against one of the best defenses in the country. It was not like he was going down and then slung the ball in the air trying to be a hero - a la JJ against Ark.

quote:Exactly - JJ holds onto the ball looking for an open receiver or an open hole to run. Want to know why Lee never throws the ball in the process of going down? It's b/c he's already thrown it to no one in particular, as any defender comes near him.

We all have our different opinions about JJ & JL, how each of us perceive the way JL has been treated/mistreated, about the effectiveness each one, ect. ect. But, that the football team voted him team captain speaks loud and clear.... for whatever reason/s, JJ is obviously the teams guy!! Our opinion cant affect that at all... It is what it is...
This!
And in case people forgot Les is doing what he thinks is best for the team something tells me he is doing a great job

There is a difference between holding onto the football and being patient in the pocket. Just because you tuck the ball and start scrambling does not mean you have patience in the pocket. If he doesn't get the ball to his first read, he stops looking down field and starts scrambling, while patience would be to stay in the pocket and go through a progression of reads.

Whoa, wait a minute, hold up!! I just have to jump in on this one.... You call the indecision and confusion JJ shows in the pocket patience??? Come on now, you and everyone else knows better than that!! No doubt Lee throws off his back foot at times, and no doubt he threw two horrible throws at Bama, but for 8 games it was working pretty good for him/us. So you cant use that for a basis to criticize JL's play.... Personally, I think we are better utilizing both thier play... since you didnt ask..
