JL has earned and deserves the honor of being
designated starting QB on senior day (even if
only first snap) in recognition and appretiation
of all he has accomplished for us this year!
I,personally, would love to see him under center
on our first offensive play.

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME.

And against a team like Arkansas, Jefferson 100% gives us a better chance to win.

I agree but its not going to happen..

I just hope JJ can now shoulder the entire load himself....If we need Lee we will be screwed. His lack of playing time im sure has destroyed his confidence

If Miles just put him in to take the first snap and then took him out, that would actually be insulting.

Agree....There will be no time for reflection even if it's deserving....The best man gets the ball.

Is it a fricking award ceremony or a football game?

You start the player that gives you the best chance of winning. PERIOD. You can shake hands and award medals and give hugs after the season.

The team is just better with JJ. It's as obvious as can be. I don't know why you fricking morons can't see this.

dynamite analysis frick face. because if you had watched any Arkansas games you'd know they struggle badly with running QBs

Bob, 2008 Jarrett Lee was the most hated athlete in LSU history. It would be great to see him have a big game in his last home game.

But, playing someone because they "deserve" it based on their past is kinda dumb. I think Lee is the better QB so I would start him anyway, but obviously not because he "deserves" it.

Lee had his chance to be a championship caliber Qb and he blew it. On colleges biggest stage for the regular season he threw two picks. He doesn't have great form and has poor read and recognition skills. I will admit he has improved and I loved what he did this year his leadership was vital in us getting here. But we need this team to continue to play at a high level and I feel although lee a great person diminishes our ability to move the ball.

My only regret for him is that rr had caught that pass in WV. He also had some other td drops. He deserves the best but not the starting role.
