#7 for acceptable doesn't fly. In a lightning storm, they clear the stadium.

Not sure why this topic hits such a raw nerve every time. People have a right to their opinions. No one is telling anyone that they don't have the right to live their lives as they choose. Some appear to be protesting too loudly. Does it speak to the validity of the criticism?

What is with all the abandonment issues of which many speak? Nobody feels abandoned. They're probably wishing they could leave as well. If it's my dime I will leave. I hardly ever do, but college football isn't about the good old try anymore. I will make this concession however. If all LSU players who have a chance to play pro football stay their full eligibility and don't "give the appearance of abandoning their fans" I too will sit through Sam Houston, ULM, and New Mexico State to put up,a united front.

Seems reasonable and fair.

Kevin Mawae said on 104.5 this morning that he missed the "comeback" because he left with about 8:00 left in the game.

If one of the greatest ambassadors of LSU athletics finds the product on the field terrible enough to leave early, I think the rest of us can leave early too.

Isn't Mawae an analyst for CST now? Shouldn't he stay the whole game, so that he can better analyze LSU for his job?

So if it takes me over two and a half hours to get home, me leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter equals you leaving at the end of the game.

I guess I need to add a rule that a long drive home isn't an excuse for leaving early. Do you leave movies 3/4 into them?

I can imagine the little imaginary Aggies in your head laughing and patting you on the back for that one.

When LSU looks completely fricking inept against Mississippi State, I'll leave when I damn well please.

If a lot of people do as you do, the orogram is going down in flames. Believe it or not, recruits arent wowed by fans bailing on the players bc of their egotistical hissy fits.

I'm Pentecostal and like most Pentecostals I also drive 2 hours to another city to watch a movie because I don't want to be seen at the movies in my hometown.

The answer to your question is when the Hollywood J___ care as little about making the movie watchable as Les Miles does about winning, then I do leave that movie early.

So you think our head coach doesn't care about winning?

He had 30 seconds at the end of the half to showed he cared about winning.

you saw what happened when there were 20 seconds on the clock at the end of the game, imagine what could have be done with 30 seconds at the end of the half.

Completely different scenario. You are showing how little you know about football.

When you have the ball on your own 19 with 30 seconds left in the first half, the smart play is to let the clock run out. Many coaches will run it once to see what they gain, then decide whether or not to attempt to score or run out the half.

The odds are much greater than you have a turnover and the other team scores, than you get a score. The smart play is to run the clock out there. No reason to take an unnecessary risk with poor odds.

That isn't "not caring about winning." That is smart football.

Jr high teams run better goal line plays than the 4 goal line plays that were done after the half back pass.

Man, this guy knows everything. Fan decorum. Football strategy. I gave away my NMSU ticket since I won't be attending, but now, I wish I would have just thrown it away; left an empty seat there just to spite holier than thou fans like you.
