Someone asked her about her outfit once for an LSU game cause she wasn’t wearing LSU colors and she said something about “I have to appear neutral as a journalist in the media booth” and it seemed kind of dumb. You’re an LSU beat reporter, you have no obligation to appear neutral, just say you don’t care for LSU.
In general you can have objective opinions and have a beat reporter that has ties to the program. Give people with passion these jobs instead people from out of state.

She must not be very good at her job. Went from covering the Longhorns down to Hawkeyes and now is in a no-name BR newspaper covering LSU
