Doesn’t even seem like that should be legal. There needs to be some consideration given to how you performed through all innings. If they want to win that way more power to them I guess but it’s not good baseball.

I’ve seen a growing campaign for avg runs per inning deciding the winner. It’s a better indicator of who really won.
