LB unit is still crazy good for us: Chaisson, Queen, Phillips, Divinity, Stevens, etc.

Devin will be missed as a leader and player, but we aren't going to have a big hole where he played.

The LB core will still be one of the strongest units on the entire team.

(yes, I didn't list everyone)

Still a great unit. Especially with Stevens starting to light it up now that he's found his position.

I hope Chaisson comes back at 100%. Our pass rush will be scary next year if he does.

And we'll have Anthony, Thornton, Baskerville, McCallum, Scott, etc. for depth.

Yep. Starks, Brooks (maybe a OLB/S initially) and McCallum are going to be some great future LBs.

Probably a box safety early. He's got a WR body at the moment.

Will be a Chaisson/Stevens type player in year 2.

If Chaisson comes back healthy it would be huge.

Queen is going to be a beast with his speed and if he can gain a little more mass like he did last offseason it would make him even better than what he is now.

Divinity is going to eat next year.

Phillips is going to improve and be a monster.

Then you have Stevens playing in a OLB/S role and Brooks coming in.

We will be fine especially with the D line we are going to have...

Still depressed tho

This can't be understated. Hopefully show big improvement here with better depth and more experience.

Nothing helps the linebackers out more than a dominant DL taking up blocks and disrupting the offense. (and vice versa)

We have pretty good depth man. I wouldn't hold your breath for Taylor, those were some serious charges/crimes.

Everything this year and I keep forgetting we lost Chaisson early and he’ll be back.

What depth? ILB is the position where we only have 2 people who have shown the ability to play. Queen and Philips. I dont like the LBs we recruited, and even if I did they are still freshmen and Aranda seems like he needs a year to get the LBs up to par (which he is great don't get me wrong). Dean would have eased that a little, but he went to Georgia.

Aranda can coach those boys up too so no reason to expect less than all of them to progress to better players next season.

I think Phillips has potential to be an All-American.

Stevens should be the other starting Sargent with Delpit next year. He looked really good there in the bowl game.
