Does anyone have a copy of the lawsuit? I searched the 19th, and it is not yet up on the website.
Also, who is local counsel?

It should be public record but I haven’t found it either.
Also saw a report that stated LSU has until today at 5 pm to respond, but that sounds like bullshite.

That is probably to the demand, not the lawsuit.
IF they filed after 5 pm yesterday, it will not yet be on ClerkConnect. I just checked again, and it is not there yet.

There are reports that Vincent DeSalvo is local counsel. Have not confirmed.

Does this have to be requested to get a copy?

It's a petition for declaratory judgment.
Very sloppy of media to not post a copy. That allows them to control the narrative and tell you what they think is important instead of allowing you to think for yourself.
Attorney told me the Clerk's office is slow in posting such things online. Can take a few days. The online system in La really really sucks. I've gotten spoiled in Mississippi where our system is a direct copy of Pacer.
I'm trying to get a copy. If I do, I will post it.

No. There is a system called ClerkConnect. If you have access, you can get copies of most pleadings. It will probably take a day or so for it to show up.
Working angles to get a copy.

I have emailed his attorney and asked for a copy. Stand by.

Today is a holiday, so ClerkConnect will not update until tomorrow, very likely.
I have a lead on getting a copy. Stand by.

I'm looking forward to reading the petition and subsequent filings and hope they will be linked somewhere here for ease of reference.

They should be out by tomorrow at the latest.

I think the most interesting read will be the university's Answer to the Original Petition wherein they will hopefully shed light on issues that were speculated upon during his tenure.
