Fascinating

We're a flawed team but this is looney tunes. Find me 6 more losses......

Rickie Collins or Bryce Underwood for 2025 would be exciting off season QB Battle.

You forgot about Hurley? He may have something to say in that battle.

was he more athletic than Brady, Peyton, Brees? This is always comical. Who do you think wins big in the NFL....not the dual threat qb...but rather the qb who can diagnose a defense quickly, get the ball out fast, accurately, and with a big arm. Nuss also has the ability to scramble if need be.

If we go that route, we will not have a good season next year. Collins and Hurly are not SEC qbs imo, and Underwood won't be ready. I'll be honest, selfishly, I hope Nuss doesn't grade as well as this and he comes back...but losing the entire offense around him may come into play there.

Hurley is 16 years old. How can you possibly conclude this?

I’m genuinely asking how you know a 16 year old freshman will never be SEC caliber

For fun, if I had to imagine a 5th guy, I'll say Lacy. Probably means him catching like 1200 yards and 16+ TDs which he can absolutley do.

I love Lacy and he’s definitely going to be drafted as long as he stays healthy, but I don’t think he will be a first rounder even if he has big numbers this season. He doesn’t have the elite measurables a WR usually has to have to go that high.

I’m not knocking him at all. He’s making the most of what he has now that he’s gotten his hands issues worked out and his stock will likely rise through the season. I just don’t think he’s a first round guy.

I know this is probably isn't going to be too popular with LSU fans, but I wouldn't draft Perkins in the first round and probably not until the 3rd at earliest. He had an incredible freshman season, but he's pretty much been non existent the last two years. You can blame it on coaching or playing him at the wrong position, but great players make plays regardless of where they are on the field. There have been several games where Perkins played the entire game and you never saw him make a tackle. I feel confident in saying that each time Devin White hit the field, you couldn't help but notice that he was a great player. I just don't see that in Perkins.

One thing working in Perkins’ favor is that it’s much easier to be a situational player in the NFL without diminishing your value or limiting how much you can play. In college, you have so many teams that will go with tempo and not sub that a defense may play entire games where they can’t sub after the first snap of a drive. That makes situational defensive subs more difficult and those players harder to play in some instances. That isn’t an issue in the NFL.

And if you are going to be a situational guy, you want to be a pass rusher. If you can be elite at that, you can have a long and profitable career even though you don’t play every available snap.

That may not get Perkins into the first round, but he will still be drafted higher than his recent production because of his physical gifts and nose for getting to QBs. Scouts know that NFL coaching will develop raw talents who are willing to do the work.

I said 6 or 7. These games are very lose-able:

Bama (sure loss)
Ole Miss (sure loss)
aTm (50/50)
Arkansas (always plays us tough and we’re not a good team)
And LOL at anyone who thinks UCLA and Florida are guaranteed wins. We looked horrid this last weekend. We were getting blown out until SC’s starting QB went down. Even then we barely hung on despite very friendly officiating and 2 pick 6’s that were called back.

I’m all for the sunshine pumping and season delusions… it makes the week better… but gotta be realistic. We have a very, very bad team.

Nope I’ve never said he isn’t good. I’ve probably critiqued his play and said he had bad games/plays etc..

He is a good QB with lots of talent. Just not a first rounder this year

What a loser. You realize we are going to either be favored or very slight underdogs in these games, right?

They won’t be as heavily favored as they would be against a Wisconsin or USF (or South Carolina), but the idea of us being favored is laughable.

Will be minimum +7

Oh really?

Vegas Insider

According to this we are favored against Ole Miss to slight underdogs.

Would be huge if we get Nuss back before turning it over to underwood (assuming he is what expected). We open away at Clemson next season

I stopped scrolling when I saw Nuss. That list is a joke. Some of those in first 10 won’t be top 20.
