Welch is underrated. Should've been a 5* in the recruiting services, imo.

With the depth concerns at corner I expect Welch to get serious PT. Wouldn’t be surprised if by years end he locks up a starting job. Dude is a stud

LSU program has a coaching staff can develop players to make all SEC teams. Kelly's crew still needs to have top 5 class and keep top 10 LA kids in state.

Welch looks like he will be the next great young db. Looks like he can move and he has good size I bet he sees the field this year. Book it. Especially if the injuries start.

I agree both are great athletes and will be terrific athletes in the purple and gold but that video wasn’t too impressive. Any decent athlete could do what they were doing

Any good athlete can backpeddle and flip their hips. Yes it is technique work but nothing out of the ordinary there.

Welch is that dude. He is next. He will be a starter before long in my opinion. Reminds me a lot of a bigger Greedy Williams.

Well considering Welch just had season ending injuries in back to back years I’d have to say that’s pretty damn impressive. He’s also proved to be very good at his position when healthy.
