I looked at the past 7 basketball seasons and LSU has not had a player avg 20+ppg. The closest was Thornton last year with 19.6 and then Big Baby with 18.6. Thornton is averaging 19.9 points this season so it made me wonder...

Who was the last LSU player to avg 20+?

Henderson. He led the SEC in scoring for two years I believe.

23.3 points per game as a sophomore, 21.8 ppg as a junior - 1995 and 1996. Thanks

I just found data that showed he was all-sec in 1999 and then said 17.3 ppg. Not sure if that was for a career or in 1999. Either way, probably didn't crack 20 ppg average
