re: If LSU goes

Posted by ctrich3 on 9/20/09 at 6:56 pm
This is sad. LSU is undefeated and No. 7 in the nation. We are 2 seasons removed from a National Title. Miles is 45-11, give it a rest, this guy deserves to be revered....

yea where is this jacket?...
Good lord you'll really be worried if LSU wins by less than 42? That's outrageous. We could score 42 points and hold them to 7 and you'd call that a disappointment? Lofty expectations to say the least......
Regarding Miles' road record... 13-5 in the regular season 18-6 overall (includes postseason games)...

amen.. Miles is 43-11...

Maybe Washington is good

Perhaps I am exhibiting a subconscious bias but between Locker and Sarkisian it isn't too far fetched to think that the Huskies, who have lost 15 straight games, will go to a bowl game this season. Maybe that's wishful thinking but it would certainly make LSU fans feel better about last Saturday....

Tailgating for LSU home games

anyone have any good advice for great spots, good people, or things you can't miss?? thanks for any input!...
Greek tickets this season were I believe $136 - still the only sport at LSU the students have to pay to see. They could charge double and still sale out easily....

Not that Herbstreit is right very often but he has some LSU players on his list and LSU ranked #1 for teams movin up. [link=(http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/preview09/news/story?id=4432441)]LINK[/link] ...

Need some statistics

I need to see the NCAA football statistics since the year 2000 - pretty much just every team's record. Anyone know where I could find this information?...

re: Last player to avg 20ppg?

23.3 points per game as a sophomore, 21.8 ppg as a junior - 1995 and 1996. Thanks...

Last player to avg 20ppg?

Posted by ctrich3 on 2/12/09 at 11:43 am
I looked at the past 7 basketball seasons and LSU has not had a player avg 20+ppg. The closest was Thornton last year with 19.6 and then Big Baby with 18.6. Thornton is averaging 19.9 points this season so it made me wonder... Who was the last LSU player to avg 20+?...

re: In the history of the NCAA....

Posted by ctrich3 on 2/12/09 at 11:28 am
Of course there have been plenty 40 pt and 10 reb. games but the stat was 40+ points, 10+ rebounds, AND 40+ minutes (with 0 turnovers). So unless someone else has done it in overtime then the number will be very small....

ESPN: Happy with recruiting?

re: Team you most hate...

You guys haven't won a BCS bowl since 99, LSU has won 4 in that span, including 2 national championships. Bama hasn't won an SEC champ this decade, LSU has won 3. Bama vs LSU in the past nine seasons: 2-7. The facts don't lie, Bama is not "the best."...

NATidefan, you sure laugh out loud a lot, hehe. Did you say "when you are the best?" The best at what? Being the sixth best team in the SEC this decade? Yes, y'all are perfect in that aspect. Watch out for Vandy, LOL LOL LOL...
people tend to forget how bad Jamarcus played when he was young....
