But it helped some of us to reprioritize some things and put LSU football in proper perspective. It’s kids making more money than most of us and their performance should not elevate people’s blood pressure, cause grown men to cuss and lose sleep.

How old are you? Have any kids yet? Just wondering bc like someone earlier mentioned, 1/9/12 was my date. I had two toddlers and another on the way. So I wasn’t super busy at the time. Fast forward 12 years, I watched the first quarter and a half on my phone in the softball complex parking lot waiting for my 12 yo game to start. Coaching her team and all the other shite I have on my plate right now, I looked at the score on the way home and said shite. But prior to 2012 I woulda lost my shite.

It's a football game, bro, it doesn't actually impact the real world, just the emotions caused by our devotion to our team.

It really hurts to lose for sure, but certainly by Sunday noon we should have all moved on.

Disappointment sucks but we can't rewind time and do it over so all we can do is move forward together.

Let's geaux frick up what's left of Bama's season and earn ourselves a spot!

You should always keep things in the proper perspective. Priorities are important. We all need to be reminded of that from time to time. The LSU playoff chances were done after the USC loss. It left us with no margin for error. That’s why the loss was so significant.

Maybe, but maybe not. Our goose isn't cooked just yet, but yes our margin of error is as thin as it gets now.

Same for me. Along with saints losing to the 49ers a week later on the last play with the best team they ever had. I realized I’m too invested in these games.

It’s a tough loss, but we’ll be fine. The only thing that really has me miffed is I just do not understand how we can’t manufacture a run game.

But I think our young center has a lot to do with that as well. We struggle against any team with strong DTs.

Other than that, sometimes things just don’t go your way. We still have plenty to play for & team can still compete with anyone.
