If you go listen to his press conference to his reasoning, I can't say I disagree. This is totally on the defense for not being able to stop the last drive in regulation. If he would have went for it and not get it and Kentucky scores a TD in regulation everyone would want to crucify him. Also consider how the officiating was going this game. Do you really think if it was close they would give us the first down? No way in hell.

He has absolutely no confidence in the offensive line so he elected to give Baker and the defense to stop Kentucky. Then Baker promptly shite the bed
