dumb post. nobody i know wanted all that rap shite or DJ shite in the stadium over the band. the people DID NOT choose this shite. the LSU admin forced it upon us. people are just too weak and brainwashed to say frick you we are done like all those NFL fans who take it up the arse with season tix(gave mine up after 2017), woke BS and concession prices, etc.
as far as STTDB u can blame the students. it sure as hell was not parents in the stands who started that.

i gave up my football season tix and gave up my baseball and basketball season tix way back. only ones i have now are softball.
so far we do not have these issues at softball games. nor do i ever expect it.
other than a few fans crying about sanchez when he is there.

There were people walking into our section randomly in the 3rd quarter and just sitting in the seats of folks who had just left . This is definetly happening. And not just this past saturday

It’s not dumb at all I get the fact that LSU admin pushes it which makes it even worse.
Theres a large percentage of the fan base that goes right along with it. I despise this light show crap that Alabama started 4-5-6 years ago and now everybody does it and as far as STTDB, that is so pathetic now that every song the band plays these idiots. Feel the need to try to incorporated in it.
I hate going down there now I don’t like the culture. I think the fans are trashy. I think the students are trashy. I’ve never seen it like it is now ….I lived in Baton Rouge for almost 15 years in the early 2000s had a huge tailgate and had numerous people come … things are different. They don’t cater to people like me anymore.
It’s the young culture which unfortunately celebrates thug ghetto culture.. which I despise.

I just have a total different experience. I tailgate with the same crew I have since the 80's - and now their kids it's still great and I still love it. Don't love the traffic but that's always been and will never change.
Now in stadium - yeah that STTB really annoys and disappoints me. that's by far the trashiest thing. But my section same folks I've been sitting with since the 70's and their kids and now grandkids. Love it.
