Exceeded? Nah man. He met expectations. Dude had a 0.64 ERA in his sophomore year of high school. We all knew what we were getting in Landon.

That’s high school man. He’s always been great but college ball is completely different, especially SEC.

I expected him to be good. He was great. I don’t put crazy high expectations on high schoolers. I do see your point to an extent tho.

I don’t expect Freshman to come in and be studs right away either. However, when you’re the #1 player in HS, and are recruited to play at LSU, I expect greatness by the time that player leaves. Landon was great. He met my expectations. That’s my point here.
