I'm still pissed that the Refs on 1/9 let the entire Gump punt team take shots and push TM7 back 20 yds well after his progress had been stopped and then celebrate all over the field.

As stated, take away the suspension and I believe he had a real shot at winning. Despite the suspension, he was still invited to the ceremony. He was there because he deserved it. No way of knowing, but would all of the other players still gotten and invitation under similar circumstances? Probably not. They knew TM7 was the biggest game changer in the NCAA last year.
If he can go out and play with the same intensity and have the same impact this season, that trophy is his.
