Lamar Brown won the Boys 3A Shot Put at the LHSAA Outdoor Track & Field State Meet

Future Tiger Lamar Brown won the shot put competition with a throw of 62' 7.25" (19.08 meters)
He also broke the class record of 61' 2.25", set in 1970
He finished 4th with the discus

High school shot put is 12 pounds and college is 16.

Georgia Theriot, daughter of Ryan Theriot, won the 3A 4x800 relay, and 800 m race. Her sister Macey is on the LSU Track team
Ciara Gray, got second in the 100 m hurdles and won the 300 m hurdles, long jump, and triple jump. She also broke the girls' 1A records in those events, minus the long jump, and has the composite record in the triple jump
