My guess:

72 catches
1,100 yards
12 TDs

This year was 63 for 929 and 8 TDs.

If Tolliver increases his numbers as expected, LaFell my not quite reach what I predicted. But Tolliver production may also help since it will keep defenses from doubling LaFell.

Numbers like these with no drops plus solid blocking could put him in the first round of the 2010 draft.

How disappointing. This hurts us next year IMO.

Looking like 8-4.

i don't know if he puts up much better stats

we spread the ball around and tolliver-JJ seem to have a connection

hell i wouldn't be shocked if tolliver becomes our #1 threat and lafell is #2

Lafell has got 3 things going for him to increase his production:

1. Jefferson following spring and August practice will be even more seasoned. He was outstanding in the Chickfila Bowl. He should get better and have even more knowledge of the playbook.

2. With Black returning, LSU's oline retains 3 veterans. This will give Jefferson more time to throw.

3. With Scott returning, LSU's running game is a threat that will have to be stopped. This opens up the passing game.

sounds good to me.

of course I wouldn't mind if Ruben got in on some of that production

I believe JL would contribute to BL upping his production from last year than JJ ever will...

JJ obv has better wheels than JL does however IMO if JL (espec if he gets the int probelm fixed) will throw for more yatds than JJ...everyday of the week and twice on sunday.

JJ is not going to sit in the pocket and throw.. if his first guy or second isnt open, dude is gone,,, my concern is how many times during a season can he get away with that, escaping injuy.., he got smacked more than once against GT.. i suppose we will see.

Don't start all of this bullshite about JL again. JJ is IBVIOUSLY our future. JJ may not put up as many passing yards per game as JL, but JJ is much more unpredictable and makes smarter decisions.

I know it is a small factor, but we do have 4 very easy out of conference games that will look much different with this team than last years team (Troy for instance). With Jordan Jefferson becoming more seasoned, we may see these games turn into "stat games" thus giving our skill players a bit more bulk in their offensive stats. While it may not make a huge difference, it could boost LaFell's stats some. I am also banking on him having a huge game against Georgia after what they did to us last year.

that deep ball that JJ threw to LaFell in the bowl game looked nice, even though it was called back.

66 for 1,045 and 12 TD

He'll be the 8th pick in the '10 draft...by Seattle.

are you saying he gets 19 touchdowns? if so, you need to be welcomed back to reality

I'm not trying to be a JLee hater, but criticizing Jefferson for not making it past his 2nd progression compared to JLee doesn't quite make sense.

im not critisizing anybody, im simply saying JJ had just as soon take off and run as he would throw... and if you think BL is gonna increase his stats form last year under that senario then maybe you should reconsider.

I will be. If Randle comes in, I won't be shocked if he supplants Toliver as a starter by midseason. Toliver is not physical.

It's not Lee's fault UGA's LB and Rashad Johnson were open every play.

ok lee just throws it to the first guy whether hes open or not. lee never looks off receivers and ive seen JJ do it several times in the few games he played
