My crazy line of thinking:
Les would encourage them all to leave on the same day (Blue, Hill, Turner). For the simple fact that he doesn't want the negativity to spread out. He encouraged the one that most are on the fence about to save his announcement until after the guys leave.

Seems logical. LSU had a press conference scheduled for Hill when they thought he was returning, instead he announced he was leaving on twitter.
