No meeting had to take place in the final few days before the end of the regular season. That was arbitrary and harmful to the LSU basketball program. And that particular point is all on Joe.

Yeah the mandatory meeting stemming from a news article that didn’t contain anything that was not already known; knowing that he was very likely to be advised not to attend any meeting before taking the stand was horseshite.

Will Wade got railroaded by the university into a lose/lose situation and the university administration tried to paint themselves in the best light possible while knowing they were suspending Wade regardless.

Hence, institutional control is mandated. You know it and don’t even know it.

Yeah bowing to the NCAA really helped Missouri.
You’re a moron.

You're not even close to being correct.

If Penn State avoided the death penalty, LSU wouldn't get it for this

The Penn State situation in no way compares. For one it’s a gross overreach by the NCAA to impose sanctions for criminal activity that in no way violated NCAA bylaws. As repugnant as it was there, it didn’t violate any bylaws - thus there was no lack of insitutional control to investigate or prevent NCAA infractions.

That’s factually inaccurate, this leak contained new information that was much more damning than the October leak.

So, you've made the jump from there currently being no NCAA investigation of LSU's basketball program to LSU being slapped with "a lack of institutional control"??

It’s really not that hard to understand that this is first a criminal investigation. The FBI will have to complete its work before the NCAA can start its work. If you think a large scale NCAA investigation isn’t coming, you are woefully misinformed.
