Is it possible they were both good enough to make it seem like Nuss was that good? Also, side note, no Will Campbell on this o-line but side note.

I think it’s really as simple as teams have been playing 2 high safeties and only rushing 3-4 and dropping 7-8. And Nuss isn’t good enough to find an open receiver or throw through traffic. Or he is hurt. Who the frick knows.

Nuss in 24/25 against SEC opponents has CURRENTLY a 59% completion percentage. 15 TDs, 10 Ints and 4 fumbles.
Thats 15 TDs and 14 turnovers.
So no, some fans think Nuss was good, but a few of us have been screaming from the rooftops how bad he really is. They see the "game winner" against Ole Miss in 24 and thought he was amazing, when he ended the game at 43% completion and a 74 QBR.

Had to literally drag the offense all alone in that game lol. Had 2 dropped TDs, arguably 3 and 3/4 other drops. No run game and no protection but he bailed us out anyway.

Nah, against that formation and coverage,….you have to run the ball. Multiple times, back to back. Make them play closer to the LOS. Give your line a chance to get it done. THAT was the answer that we didn’t do enough of.

Nuss can’t read defenses. I was watching somewhere where they were talking about Nuss making too many changes at the line of scrimmage. He changes blocking, he changes runs, and he changes passes. I really think he is fricking us up more than many people want to realize.
And people can say whatever the hell they want about Davis, but the RBs were averaging 117 yards and 130 yards in the years Jayden Daniels was QB.

People that actually knew what they were watching saw Nuss put the entire team on his shoulders and have to try and win games by himself with an absolute garbage running game and defense last year, all while his WRs failed to make a contested catch all season (yes, even Kyren). People like you that blame the QB for everything that goes wrong ignored these facts and now you’re circle jerking because he’s hurt and has an even worse OL that can’t even pass block against 3 DL
