I don't think people act like he is God, but rather a good person who puts the best interests of the school and his players over his own. He is a good man in a public figure and handles himself well and is a fantastic representitive of the school and for that, we praise him.

Les also got 'out of the way' when it appeared the Tigers were going to win, he didn't want to interfere with their celebration and have the TV coverage be about him. Kudos to Les, a class act all the way.

Just goes to show the caliber of character LSU has on its coaching staff. Giving credit when credit is due, that's just the stand-up guy Paul Mainieri is.

I noticed Les exiting the media fray so that the baseball team/coaches got ALL of the attention. Class act by Les. Congrats Tigers!

I think baseball/football athletes at LSU are under football scholarships because baseball can only give out partials,

"Bear Bryant Rule" says if a kid plays football and any other sport, he must be on a football scholarship. Bryant used to stockpile football players by putting them on scholarships of other sports even when they didn't play on those other teams. Because of that, now if a player plays another sport in addition to football, he MUST be on a football scholarship.

How can you not love Miles. He has a ring and appears to be a high character guy. I don't know if he's perfect, but I know I wouldn't trade him for ANY other coach. Just the way the Michigan situation went down endeared me to Miles for a long time.

Look at the way he handled his first "bad" season. Cleaned house, and still made sure those coaches he got rid of made it to a good situation.

Did I mention he has a ring?
