If your point was any expectation that Lane Kiffin will take next year’s team to the playoffs is unreasonable then it does not diminish your point. If your point was the expectations must be for Kiffin to make the playoffs because Brian Kelly coached a team that would not make the playoffs in his first year then it diminishes that point because it is unsupported by any data or rational logic.
