He'll be able to shed a few pounds through conditioning. Won't be able to have contact until he's ready. Nothing to worry about for now.

I hope you are right man but to deny things have been strange on all things Arden Key the last 4 months is being dishonest. Why not have the shoulder surgery at the beginning of his " leave of absence " if this is a injury that plagued him all last season?

This is got the makings of another task that Arden has been given to complete that hasn't been completed.
Odd that the day after his first day back with the team that he's back on the injured list.

Ya, I've got 2 theories about this whole situation.
1. Injury like everyone is saying.
2. Failed some classes. First day back found out he didn't pass some spring classes. Now has to take more summer classes to qualify for the fall. Dont really know, makes sense in my head though.

I can tell you what's going on. He took a leave of absence from the team a few months back. He then came back to the team. He then had shoulder surgery and now they aren't certain when he'll be ready to be healthy enough to practice and may not be ready for fall camp.

are you fricking suggesting he is not hurt at all?! Holy shite, why do I still get amazed at this place. A future top 3 pick and his team decided to fake an injury(one that requires surgery I might add) in order to skirt some questions.

Your story sounds similar to my torn labrum. My ortho guy at first recommended PT after the MRI showed nothing. With no relief, he did the surgery and found a significant tear. It takes about 6 months for someone to fully recover from this. Key is a freak, so he will recover quicker, if this is the surgery he had. But playing this fall after surgery in May?
