D1 is so frustrating to use on a phone, the scores are also wrong at times. If you see a score then click the game, sometimes the actual game score is totally different. It lags behind or is just reversed on the scores page

I also hate how D1 doesn't update scores automatically.

Need to refresh the page to get updates. The user functionality of it all has gone to shite because it's dripping in ads.

Well of course he’s not going to publicly try to get things shut down lol

He explicitly said he wasn’t ok with other streams while his was working.

My biggest issue with Kendall last year is that he threw around a lot of blame for a production that he was ultimately responsible for. The shaky camera was the wind’s fault, the airplay/casting was the video player company’s fault, the bad camera shots were the production company’s fault… As if it’s not his responsibility to make sure is run correctly. I can’t remember if he ever ended up offering a 50% discount to D1 like he suggested he might.

He deflected big time.

It was always, “well gosh we tested that, I guess they screwed up”

i mean, KR is a writer, podcast host, content creator buti disagree, he isnt ultimately responsible for all that stuff. sure as a good company man, he promoted the hell out of it

fwiw i've heard they've made huge strides in their broadcast this year. i guess we'll all find out how far they've come next season when we play in Dallas

I mean, he’s an investor and the face of D1.

I can’t speak to any quality improvements because I didn’t watch any of their tournaments this year, but they did change the way they charge for them. I think it was like $15 and you got access to all the Peak Events tournaments. So 5 tournaments over three weekends I think.

Whether or not that’s a good deal depends on how many non lsu games you plan to watch.

So what? He should control the weather in Round Rock, Texas in late February?

Too windy for scissor lifts which caused a shaky cam and awful CF camera angle. Yep all KR's fault

I just love all the revisionist history on the situation when his post history is linked in this very thread.

Still waiting for this links where he was laughing in all our faces and checking posters knuckles' at Sonic

Huh? Were they planning on throwing somebody up in a scissor lift and just hoping that the wind wasn’t blowing that weekend?

Yeah, I pulled the examples of him blaming other people/companies from his post history.

He is one of the main guys that run D1 Baseball. Everything surrounding that tournament is ultimately the responsibility of his company. If you have a general contractor building your house and the project manager says “the cabinet guys messed up so you won’t get what you paid for. But don’t blame me, I don’t own the company” that wouldn’t be acceptable.

The DDoS attack that fricked up people getting into the stream, while shitty, does ultimately fall at his feet.

The camera angle in centerfield because of the way the stadium was built, does not.

That was the ONLY camera option in the entire stadium they could have used for a center field view?

Honkus wants to promote the post history like it’s a complete log. HA! The remaining is evidence enough that Kendall was getting fiesty and also denying any responsibility. To his request - go look yourself!

I never had a problem with the camera angle. I know they can’t just put a camera anywhere. I had I problem with the shaky camera and bad/delayed cuts. Before the game he was bragging about how they had an ESPN level production crew and it wasn’t like Flo TV

Yes, these parks have camera wells built into the stadium

So any other broadcast at this stadium that wants a center field view uses the same spot?

Yes, every single Round Rock Express game has that same angle
